Ahw tech, this is a tough one!! We love them.. and never want to see them go... and yet if they are suffering we don't want that either! Wow... I hate those things... but if doggie is doing OK..and not in pain I would wait! JMO... and that don't mean nothin around here...So take it with a grain of salt!! I will tell ya that I know of another 15 year old that recently had a stroke..lost the use of his back legs...and is now walking again... If that helps at all.. I am so Sorry! I am an animal lover if ya can't tell... and I just hate this stuff!! Hugs... SC

SC, such Cute beasties! How'd you find a cat to match your dogs? !! Thanks for the advice. That's kind of how I'm heading anyway- It's just hard to know if I'm doing the right thing!
I tend to think that as long as she can still beg for treats, she must feel sort of OK... Here's her picture laying in my patch of 4 leaf clovers...we think her pee mutated them cuz they're all lucky 4 leafers! :

I love animals! However, I have 3 cats and I can't have any more. I don't want to be referred to as 'the cat lady"! Techno your baby looks so innocent in the pose! A cutie as well. My one cat scooter is dog like. He is the puppy I never had!
She is a pretty girl tech!!! She has Great Wisdom in her eye brows.. What a doll.... I would let her go naturally if ya can do that without alot of suffering! If she really gets in a bad way then ya may have to re-think it... but as I said I know one that everyone counted out!!! And he comes right back, so it is hard to say sometimes.. ya know?

tech, I didn't the kitty found me!!!

Don't think I am crazy guys...I seen Dexter in the thread info...he left! I wonder if he's cooking up a sale!
Anyway, Techno I agree with SC. If your dog is not in pain and still enjoys the quality of life....just wait and see.

Ok...So...the age old question.... what do we name this new misfit?? Wilson was named after the movie "Castaways" Chloe was just a Chole... and Stormy... was cuz she was rescued from a T-Storm..... So what now??? Fireball or Sparky...ain't right Smokey maybe...I kinda like that one... Give me your input folks... I am leaning toward Smokey right now...
