Salem, that is some good news about the allergies!
I have some tree pollen problems but that is about it. My wife is allergic to so many things it's crazy. 5 different types of bees, anything green! almost all animals.

she was due for some new testing recently and the docs wanted her to stop all allergy medicine so the testing would be accurate. We ended up at the ER because she was breaking out in hives and having real problems breathing. I stopped at the store first and got some Benadryl and she cleared up pretty quick.

my daughter was tested and found allergic to mango, oats, and latex. She ended up in the hospital a few months ago from a reaction and her blood pressure dropped so low, she almost died!

Scary stuff.

Dayum, Pad. That is scary! I am highly allergic to bees too. I never had a problem with any other allergies until about 15 years ago. I have lost hearing in one ear and since I moved to the upstate of SC, I stay sick. I was tested about 5 years ago. Not very good testing though. It came out that I was only allergic to dust. I knew much better than that but it made me hesitant to go to my sisters doc.

I literally have symptoms year round. I am also allergic to my African Grey Parrot. Getting rid of him is not an option though. I go back for 2 hours of testing on the 26th and I am so ready to get some relief :)

Well guys, my wife is finished watching American Idol and now I can watch Ghost Hunters that I taped while she was watching that stuff.

So I'm gonna check out a little early and sit back and watch my favorite show.

Have a great night and wake up in the morning with a whole bunch of smiles and then give one of them to somebody!

Love all of you!

That is scary, Padre. I'm glad that your daughter is ok. :)

it was very scary. She was at the ER and they took her BP just because that's what they do. It was so low, the EMT thought the machine was broken!

When she first started getting symptoms, she called my wife. She recognized it right away as an allergic reaction and told my daughter to immediately drive to the hospital just down the street. At first my daughter thought she was joking because she didn't feel all that bad, but she agreed. She only made it a mile and then had to pull over. the first place she saw was our bank. Luckily they are so friendly because she came running inside in a panic and then passed out in the lobby. They called 911. Imagine my shock when I call her phone and the bank manager answers and tells me the ambulance is on the way because she was passed out on the floor. I was half hour away, but got to the hospital as fast as I could.

All turned out ok and now she carries one of those epi pens
