That colon procedure sounds painful but i giess they give ya something for the pain no ?

There is nothing to it. They put you in a twilight and you don't remember a thing. No pain.

Plus, if they find something, maybe they can fix while they are there.

I think they will put him to sleep for that.

Actually, Mrs TT told me that they can't put him all the way out because of his heart valve. But, for a colonoscopy you truly have no idea afterwards.

ETA- I have no clue why they would not be able to put him under, only know that is what I was told :)

Well thats a good thing but when he wakes up um hmm.
I recall when a good friend took a vacation day at work to go see the doc for a prostate exam and then came back to work and all he said to me was this.
"Dies how old are you and i told him and he said have you been to doc lately cause you really should go to have a prostate exam and i said um no im not sure what the heck that is.
He said aw its nothing and its over by them time you no it.

So i go and make an appointment , the doc said drop your drawers and lean over the table, last thing i recall was a snap noise the rubber gloves he put on then wham, i turned around and i could feel the blood rushing to my head and my ears on fire and i guess i made a mean face cause the doc took a step back and said you ok ? When i came back to work i smack my friend upside his head.

Except for all the air that needs to come out!

Thats true. I had that after gall bladder removal endoscopic. But that is not all that bad. Actually, DH and my sister and BIL had no problem at all with it. There is a med that they can give you that helps with that.

I have a few things to do now so I am going. I hope that everyone has a great night.

Dies, you are so gullible!! Do you do everything your friends ask you to do?

Padre well im not one that knows a lot about the doc procedures and all . I dont go unless i have a upper resp infection or im running some sort of high temp.

I have not been to a doctor in years!

Well I guess I did 2 years ago. I got poison ivy on my face and had to get steroids to clear it up faster!

LD hear is what Salem said in another thread at about 7:30 tonight. i copy and paste here .

Alright, a bit of a roller coaster ride. Evidently he does not have bleeding ulcer as suspected. Tests that were done today were negative for that. They will do a colonoscopy in the morning and he feels that it is going to end up being something very simple. So, lets all keep our fingers crossed.

He did say that he is feeling much better, which is great news. He also asked for no phone calls through tomorrow, please. He really appreciates everyones care and concern but is preparing for the testing tomorrow and is not up to calls.

Mrs TT has my number and will call me if anything profound or noteworthy happens tomorrow. Otherwise, same time, same place tomorrow night. I will update.
