Everything's about the same here Pokey. So-so. Some nice warm weather would help I think.
As always, you know I'd send you some if I could; instead, just sending warm wishes your way. It's the best I can do. And a smile, of course.
Cant stay but a minute i dont want to keep the Lady bus driver waiting to long on this Easter Holiday.
Had fun today and got my vv box mod together long story the first time around i mleted several wires when the 510 connector ground popped of and made contact with the positive wire as i was testing it with the back open , the wires turned red before my eyes and well made a mess, the older 14500 batteries i had in there had some damage to the outer casing and i tossed them.
Took a nap woke up and used my last Lm2596 regulator soldered it up to some new wires and wa la it works and has a meter hooked up to a 3 position on/off/on switch which enable me to read either battery volts status or atty volts depending on which "on" i use and the off shuts off the meter display.
There is also a separate single throw on and off switch for safety to completely shut off or turn on the box.
Box has several large scratches and ain't pretty from slipping with the dremel but works well.
Have a few more regulators on there way and will try to make a box minus the scratches next time around.

go ahead and laugh at the pictures i here is what i fashioned together from a 4 AA box with some interior modification with my dremel.
In the first picture hard to see but there is a tiny hole for screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer.
Next box i may add a knob to the screw .
Plus i only burnt my thumb one time during the process a step up for me from the other mod that i still use.
