German Potato Pancakes Recipe - Allrecipes.com I should know how to cook these. Dh is half polish/german but I did bookmark the recipe. I am still trying to figure out why folks like potato pancakes. I tried them once and its meh.

I love potato pancakes! You can buy a simple box mix at the grocery store & then all you have to do is add water.
They're so delicious with sour cream...I'm getting hungry again.

I was just telling my wife this evening that it says right in the bible that Church's Fried Chicken and ice cream are good for you. And you know what? That woman sneered at me.

I agree! I have never had the boxed kind. My mom made them was I was a child and they were awesome with sour cream!
I love liver & onions. I haven't had it in years. I think my hubs would throw up just like Jerry if I cooked it.
We used to have fried rabbit for Easter dinner, but I haven't been able to get any for several years.
Warped holiday humor I know.
Love 'em. Grew up on them.
Here's a kicker though - they are often served with apple sauce. That part I can pass on, lol.
