I was using Ego's when I switched to the Buzz and Infinity. I haven't kept up with them at all so I have no idea what a go-go carto is. LOL

See what I mean? Most of us don't research and read about all of the new stuff after we find our sweet spot. I imagine some do though.

Funny thing, I was recommending her the Buzz well before I actually got mine. lol

This is weird but I think that I remember you doing that. I did not have my Buzz for long and I knew that you did not have one yet. It did seem odd and stuck with me lol

BTW- I was not one of the people that miraculously stopped vaping the day that I got my PV. I vaped and smoked for a few weeks before putting the cigs down.

Me either. In fact, I've been haven't smoked a single cigarette for 5, maybe 6 months now. My longest stretch ever. :D

A huge congrats to all of you who have been smoke-free for however long...every one you don't smoke is a victory; to put the demon to rest permanently is something worth celebrating without a doubt - big WOOTs to each and everyone!

And I remember when most all of y'all joined. Except jj, of course - she of long-standing vetdom was already here when I first arrived, helping others and guiding us noobs along the path :)

I know! I think about some of the new vapers on the forum that think the members that have been here the longest have the most knowledge. What they don't know is that once we are set with what we like to vape and vape with, many of us don't keep up on the latest and greatest lol

Oh I so know!!!!!!!!!!!! If they only knew. 8-o

The reason that I remember so many "Old Buzzards" is because when you are an SA at ECF, you are not allowed to post in another vendors forum without their permission. Mike gave me permission so I was only allowed to post at Notcigs or FSUSA at the time. Not that I wanted to post in any other vendors forums, mind you :)

lol I had already done extensive research and knew the Buzz was the best VV device out there. I also spent a lot of time hanging out on Mike's forums and got to know him as a stand up guy.

ETA- Oops, I meant to say that I did not stop smoking the day that I got my PV lol

My first e-cig was a high priced Green Smokes and actually, they were pretty good at the time. They started declining later ... but the day I got my e-cig and started vaping I tossed all my cigarettes and never smoked another one.

My mom saw a commercial on the game show network for Safe Cigs  and ordered a kit.
I had heard about ecigs before that. Of course I imediately knew that she paid too much and would need an option with nicotine since she was a heavy smoker. I tried her Safe Cig before returning it for her and knew that vaping could work.

Hi All! I guess I can chime in!

I quit almost completely when I got an ego in Oct 2010. it took me from then until June 2011 to smoke a pack and I ended up throwing away the last few in the pack. What amazes me is that they never tasted stale even after 7 months. I haven't touched one since middle of June last year!

no hockey game on for me tonight!

I did quit completely in July of 2010 but I had two cigs in the freezer. I smoked one of them last Summer and it was not stale. Tasted pretty good at the time lol

ETA- I had them wrapped in press n seal

Evening TT by the way. How have you and Mrs. TT been?

We've both been doing real well FranC. Thanks. My wife just went to her doctor today for a blood test and he's happy with her progress and I haven't been to any doctors lately and I'm happy with my progress. I am starting to get some strength back though, and that's good!
