Hey guys, I just wanted to offer an "Apology" I know I have not been myself the last few days... and I won't go into great detail here, but I heard from my daughter a couple of days back that her Mom... my Ex-wife.., had a stroke and is totally paralyzed on her right side... My kiddo is having a really hard time with this...(well me too for that matter. ) and I for one of the few times in my life am struggling with how best to help her... So if I seem distracted...please forgive... I have faith that all will work out... get better.

Sorry to hear about this SecondChance and I can understand its very hard on your daughter and you too. And you certainly do not have any need to apologize. Your among some very good friends here. People might say, oh, their just people on the internet, but that's not true. I know how much all of us care about the other and I think that's pretty fine.
Its always amazed me what some people have to go through just to make it through this thing we call a life. I just hope your ex is like me and has a lot of joy in just seeing the sun rise again and the chance at another day here. Every one of them are something special.
And you know, its so amazing the things they can do today. With all my own little medical problems just a few years ago I wouldn't have had much of a chance to go on, now these doctors talk about making me better and giving me back my life. Even with all the troubles in the world I still think we're living at one of the best times that a person could ever have lived on this round ball of dirt.
So put your smile back on your face. We still have hope and so much to be thankful for.

Thanks guys, I am Ok... and the Doc's think with a lot of physical therapy her mom will be too... I just worry about my baby girl the most!! She is strong...but I think this was a big shock for her! It will all be good in the end I know...
