I always carry soft slippers in my car, for those occasions where I visit someone who has a no-shoe rule in their house. I absolutely HATE going barefoot. Must have something that feels like a shoe. Weird I know.

Socks for me, Techno. At my house barefoot is OK. At other people's houses, not so much.

Same thing at the doctor's office - I always carry a pair of socks to wear, especially if I am in sandals or "sockless" summer shoes.

Somehow I just don't feel quite so naked and vulnerable under that paper gown if I've got a pair of socks on. :)

Oh no...I refuse to go barefoot in anyone's home, Nothing against the homeowner. I had a bad experience once when I wore flip flops and forgot to bring socks so I went barefoot in their house......BIG MISTAKE. I came home with the bottoms of my feet black....Never again.

I agree with you on this one! I would be afraid of obtaining athletes feet or toe fungus. It happens.

Quick Question: I should be receiving my e-power tomorrow but now I am wondering have all the kinks been worked out? I just finished reading some post in the mod forum and someone mentioned some issues the device was having. Someone mentioned the push button getting stuck and something about the atty not getting a good connection to the battery (I think I got that right).

Speaking of germs. Ever watch people in public restrooms. First they touch the door to open. Proceed to use the restroom. They touch the soap dispenser. Or they touch the handle to the faucet. I can't help to watch as folks walk out and touch the door as well. Yuck, so many germs. Hand sanitizer is your friend!

Yes, yes, yes, and YES!!!

757 About the e-power. I never use atties. I never had a problem with it thus far. I had some paint chip. (It is spray coated with black paint.) The silver ones don't chip. I am very rough on my e-cigs. I have two cats that love to knock them off the desk as well.

I have read that one can just pry the 510 pin up a touch an it will activate the carto or attie.

Oh! I was on face booked earlier. OMG China has a new mass produced Variable voltage e-cig on the market. It is called the L-rider. Under a hundred bucks-fresh in the market. Sssh don't tell anyone.

My new E-Power should be here tomorrow or the next day too 757girl.

I think most of the button issues are with the newer E-Power that takes a larger battery . Vapor Junction isn't carrying them yet and I suspect DeXTeR is waiting for them to get some of the issues straightened out. I usually skip over anything to do with atty's because I don't care for them much.

The smart thing you did though was getting your E-Power from Vapor Junction. If you have any kind of issue contact them at once and you'll find you get immediate attention. The nice thing about these E-Powers is that individual parts can be replaced without having to toss the entire unit so correcting any problem is fast and easy. But Vapor Junction will take good care of you.

Quite a few of our people here at TexasT's House are using E-Powers and none to my knowledge have reported any problems. But I guess like anything brand new something can go wrong. I'm sure it will all be fine though!

Now I have never had a sockless person here LOL I don't think I would like that either. Most visitors that I have are family and they always have something on their feet. My sister keeps a pair of sliders here to wear when she is here. I have never made anyone take shoes off at all and it is my sister that has the sign. But when they walk in and see my wood floors they just take their shoes off without being asked. Don't think I ever had anyone show up in sandals or sockless shoes. Most of my family (including me) have foot problems so we never ever go barefoot. :) Or wear sandals :)

Well 75, I hope that I did not steer you wrong on the epower :( I do know that if you do have any problems DeX will take care of you for sure. Matter of fact I am almost positive that DeX is using one himself. There is a thread below in this forum talking about the "old style" epowers having that switch issue but I am almost sure that DeX stated he has the newer ones without the issue. :)

I have had my e-power since June 25th and no mechanical problems. I still love it. It is my number two. Number one is a VV for obvious reasons. However, I wish they had made the e-power last year. I would have saved quite a substantial amount of money.

Oh good Sd! I was worried there for a minute. That post she read was about the regulated switches I think they are all 2nd generation unregulated now but that may be what I get for thinking :)

Noooo you didn't steer me wrong Salem, I value your opinion because you have helped me before. I was just catching up on some threads I missed while I was gone and ran across a thread about e-power issues. I didn't know if it was the one I ordered or what. But I did want to ask just in case it was the one I did get. That's what I get from being gone from the forum for so long...I miss all the generations of pvs :(
