Home, safe and sound TT, thank you.

A little tired, but not too bad. I feel a second wind coming on;well, better make that a breeze. Or, maybe, just a waft, lol.

Love you guys, too! I can go to sleep with a smile on my face, after seeing my friends this morning!
Good to see you, Pokey! They must be working you too hard!
Hey Everlast, you still saving butts instead of kissing them?? LOL! Love that avi!
I have another long shift tonight, then DH and I are going to the mountains for a week :). But the cabin we are renting has wi-fi - I couldn't go a whole week without talking to my pals!

Rain in the forecast and clouds here, too, TT!

It confused me when I left work this morning - it looked like night-time outside. :(

But I am very, very glad that your odds of getting a decent soaking are so high for a change and am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Thank you Pokey! I couldn't possibly begin to explain how badly we need this rain. It will help a lot with all the fires in East Texas and hopefully we'll get enough that it replenishes the water table at least a little bit.

There are so many wells going dry and towns on the verge of running out of water that its scary.

Ohh, a week vacationing!

That's wonderful Nursie T, I'm really happy for both you and your husband!

(My dog Chance just came in and announced it was time for his morning conversation and petting. I'd better do it)

I saw a blip on TV last night (was it last night? I don't know anymore) where the ground in Texas is so dry, hard and cracked that small animals are being caught in them - I think it was a doggy in particular, that required rescuing.

Or maybe that was on The Weather Channel website? I really can't remember...lol.

It was cold here this morning, T. 60 on my way home - time for long sleeves and long pants. Meh.

Yes, TT, better go take care of Chance. My four cats are ready for me to go to bed, so they can place themselves strategically around me to prevent movement!
Night :)

LOL, okay, Chance has had his lovings and we had our little talk where he tells me about his night (I guess).

It 73 degrees here at 7:40 am, considerably warmer.

It seems like its been pretty cold all across the northern part of the Country lately. I guess September is the time for them to go into fall weather. We don't see fall here until late November.
