Yeah good point, is it normal for people to have extra shoes in the car. I don't unless i had PT gear with me.
Hey! Are you implying that I'm NOT normal??

... oh well, I'll give you that!
My feet always hurt, so I always carry a spare pair of shoes to change into if I need to. Also, I'm a "ferry" person, often traveling across the sound to visit family...and because of the long waits & rides, I normally have a change of clothes, books, snacks, pillows & blankets in the back of the jeep with the jack & first aid kit. From now on, I'll also have a pair of dress shoes I guess.

AFter the ballet, I tried to drop off my sister at the ferry dock, but we got stuck at a stupid train crossing. We had to hang out for 90 minutes by the docks waiting for the next boat. All the BARS close up at 11 instead of 2 down there, so we just sat in the car & watched rats scurrying around the bushes, and drunk people passed out on the sidewalk.
An ugly view of Seattle that we don't often get to see.
A real cultural evening for us.
I've investigated the exploding shoes & found out that there are several composite soles from European shoemakers that are known to do that as the shoes age. It is recommended that you stomp around in them before heading out, to be sure they're holding up. Problem solved!
