Yes, or also could compare it to watching out the window to see when the long anticipated company is arriving. I just finished airing the cushions on the plaid sofa, restocking the liquor bar, killing all the cockroaches, and generally picking up the place so he would feel comfortable back here again. Did not make it too clean since I know he prefers a "lived in" feel.
If ya don't have the occasional beer bottle or bug carcass...it just ain't home!!

Please make some for me, Sd........lots of salt and butter. And maybe some chocolate chip cookies, and some M&Ms, and how about some ice cream with caramel topping. And of course, a diet Coke (gotta watch that sugar intake you know.)
All I have is microwave popcorn. Wait....I will pop a bag for ya! I don't have any of your other requests. How about some peanut butter cups? I am slowing getting all the sugar out of the house! (Low carb is in my future.)
Salem, we will keep it low key--it will take him weeks to catch up on all this posting. He won't be bored recuperating with these great people. I am still amazed at the creativity on that contest thread.
He will be fine grams. I am sure that he will just do what he is able to once he gets here
I used to worry about that kind of stuff, but when you get my age--seeing all the sagging skin, the wrinkles, and all the other stuff that comes with getting old, the fat gut is not so important--What good does a great figure do you if your face looks like a wadded up paper bag? Just sayin'.
