Going to a neighborhood block party this evening.....they are roasting a pig. I made Texas cole slaw in honor of TT to take. It has roasted chopped pecans and chopped apples, and a lot of blarney in it. So I will not be around for awhile, but....WARNING....I will be back later to put in my 3 cents whenever possible.
I wish a pleasant afternoon and evening to all TT's house residents.....I know you all will be here cause I stocked the liquor cabinet and the fridge with the good booze.....AGAIN. I will bring some roast pig to share.
Also, SC....I need my avatar back because I keep getting mistaken for TT, and all these wimmen are pestering me for stories and other things that I cannot provide.

Boy, with them ants Salem just listed and them wild boar hogs you got down there.....you may want to think bout moving to places that don't have them there problems.... saw a special on them hogs the other night on animal planet. some of em are bigger than you are.
get the boys rounded up at the coffee shop and get to hunting before you are over-run. and don't try to tame one to ride, TT. You already got your cow...

The cows are all gone. Due to the drought all the grass and ponds have dried up and feed and hay prices are out of sight. They were mainly a hobby anyhow so its no real problem. The hogs have already been a problem and what pasture they hadn't torn up already they are going after now.
I've invited everybody with a rifle to come hunt them and some do.
And now it looks like we're going to have these ants to contend with.
This State seems to be going to the dogs ... I mean hogs.
And now their saying the drought will be worse through the winter than it was during the summer and that it could last ten to fifteen more years. Just incredible.
But that's okay. As soon as I'm doing a little better I'm going out shooting hogs and stomping ants.

Sounds like a plan....I also read, due to the drought, that old relics are now being found in some of the dried up lake areas. Just don't get caught getting em tho. Might cost you more than the loot is worth. lol
