We have allot of vermin in our area. Skunks, possums, woodchucks, squirrels and chipmunks. I will leave them alone. However, woodchucks are very nasty evil little creatures. A woodchuck tried to attack my son years ago. I bought a vermin bb gun. I don't like hurting or killing things but woodchucks are not allowed on my property. They would eat my son, cats and the garden vegies. This year I fooled them an placed tons of shiny cds in the garden where they enter the property. It is wooded and unclaimed. I claimed it for the garden space. I have not seen a woodchuck since utilizing this idea. I would rather deter them than shoot them...I am a lousy shot.

Not any more....the Poo Pourie is powerful stuff. It will be a long time before they can stink this place up again. I know they will try....but the force is with us because we are the righteous.

Oh sure! I was half asleep when I felt the presence of a personal challenge. I am off to drift back to sleep, but the challenge has been accepted! 'till tomorrow night ladies!

Muhahahaha!!! :evil::nun::evil:

Speakin of , My second rescue Smokey... is doing great! He is in fact a he verdict is in!! And becoming quite at home around here! He is actually more loveable than Stormy... She can be a bit testy.. lol But he is just the opposite when my borders come up he just nuzzles up to them... they don't even know what to do with that... it is funny to watch! :)SC

LOL, I had forgotten about the gender-unknown beastie! Glad to know you got that figured out!
My dog is terrified of our cat. They're both 14-16 years old, so you'd think they'd be used to each other by now, but the dog still whines terribly if the dang cat is around. The cat enjoys this, and will just sit & stare at the dog Until we shoo her away!

Cool SC. Male cats in my opinion are friendlier than female cats. IDK why. However, our female feral just loves the boys but hates me. My Willow girl only sucks up before she eats. She does the kneading thing and heads off for her kibbles. Scooter will attach to me like duct tape. I love my scooter-he is 1/2 puppy 1/1 cat. The puppy I never had. Oh, and they say cats cannot be trained. Yes, they can. I have scooter trained to walk only on the sidewalk and when I slap my hand to my thigh he will run.

Ha Ha! I can just picture that!! Cats can be so mean, but I find that one of their charming characteristics! Three of my four cats are siblings, that were semi-feral. A cat took up residence with my parents and they kept her around (maybe because I fed her when I was there, LOL). Anyway, she got herself in trouble, and had 4 kittens. I took 3 of them and my cousin took one. Because they had feral beginnings, they have always been skittish. A few years later, I found a kitten under some bushes, who was almost dead. For some reason her mother must have abandoned her. So I dropper-fed and bottle-fed her and she is absolutely the most spoiled cat you could imagine. For the first three years, she was the sweetest kitten you could imagine. Then, all of the sudden, she became a real b*$^h. She picks fights with the other cats, and will only let you rub her briefly and if she feels like it. Otherwise, she bites you. But I love her so much I just laugh at her and her meanness.

Yes, I think male cats are definitely sweeter and friendlier :)

Yep tg, a neutered male it is!! He is a pretty cool cat!! Can't seem to get enuf attention! Most loveable character I have ever seen... could not find anyone that lost him... he could have been dumped out here... it happens alot... Very sad but true... folks will bring animals out to the country and just drop them off!! I have actually rescued a couple of others... and taken them to the VA Medical Center ... the Old guys just love them.. and I still see them as I work there regularly.. :)

Good morning my Pokey!!

What a magnificent day its going to be! Good coffee to get things going, lots of sunshine and smiles and happy people! Yes ma'am its gonna be a good one!

I succumbed to the pleasures of my LazyBoy recliner last night and missed a lot, so I have a bunch of catching up to do here this morning. Good reading to kick off a good day.

Oh ... can I have another cup while your up? It seems to taste better when you pour it ...
