LOL grams. I thought about getting a "I hate Wal-Mart" T-shirt and wear it in the store. I think that will teach them not to keep hiding/switching items to different shelves/isles. Oh! I did see you on the people of wal-mart thread.

Sd.....any swear word loses its effectiveness if used too often. Now back in my day...people knew how to swear. They used lots of good swear words, not just one four letter word over and over and over. I told my kids...if you are going to swear, do it right, do it effectively, and do it creatively. Nowadays....no creativity used at all.

I do have a sister that is one of the best swearing people I have ever met. She is my younger sister, and when we were kids, she used to shock me....but I was around her enough that I learned from her how to swear effectively. And I use most of those words every time I go to Walmart, but it is 10 minutes closer than any other store so back I go.
SC must have went to the outhouse again....I agree Grams. At least do it right or not at all. I think that is why I hate facebook more than Wal-mart. (I really don't hate Wal-mart!) I envy Wal-mart. They entrap me with their wicked Happy Face as I shop like a mad woman.

Well, I own stock in Walmart....and I tell them. "Hey I pay your salary"--but they don't listen. I am probably one of their biggest spending customers. And I mean that.
I read about the pickled eggs earlier, and then had to go away & be taken out to dinner. again. Sheesh. It's like hubs doesn't WANT to eat my cooking, so who am I to argue?

I got my Thrive tablet today, and have been trying to play with it.

Tech-I don't think you missed much. I will summarize but I did have to skip hundreds of posts. Everyone was fasinated with pickled eggs tonight! Why? IDK TT had a fit and wanted everyone to make him a gallon jug. LD was mellow. SC was super cool! He altered an avatar and gave me use of his flaming soccer ball! Salem is going shopping again. Pokey was in on the pickled egg thing. Padre was super excited about "turning" 75 stopped by and is having problems with a situation. I hope I didn't forget anyone. Just remember I did skip a ton of threads. Oh and I was talking about cell phones and being cheap again.
Is that like a Kindle? I probably will have to get one---they keep making print smaller and smaller in books.
They only serve Mac by the glass, so they wouldn't let me bring any home!

I have a Kindle too (we're sort of techno-gadget junkies)...and it's GREAT to read on. You can make them letters as big as you want.
The Thrive is like a mini computer, so you can read the forum, or books (it also can get kindle books on it).
It's just like my cell phone, but bigger so I can read it! Plus, it has a rubberized backing so I can't drop it (we'll see...)..
