We are confusing!

A lot of us change early because, well, we just like to prolong the fun!

Sometimes turnees may change in the middle of the night when we're not around to party with them and let them enjoy their special day.

Traditionally, the day of the turning is where the avi change started. It just kinda grew into the Eve of the Turning and then the Day before the Turning...

It's whatever makes you happy.

Pad's turning time is early in the morning tomorrow - either 0825 or 0925 is what I've read. A lot of people who participate will miss the actual festivities: by being either at work, or it being too early (especially for West Coasters) - so we are honoring him all the day and eve before.

I am going to congratulate Padre on his first anniversary today. Cause I won't be around much any more. Some things have changed, and I am needing to use my time elsewhere....mainly for my own peace of mind.

Thanks Gram, the real celebration date though is next week 10-12
that is the day my first PV came in the mail and the last day I was a regular smoker. Don't get me wrong, I have smoked since that day but that is the last day I was a regular smoker.

The day my PV came in, I had 7 packs from a carton left. I sold 6 of them within a week and believe it or not, I still have a few left from that last pack in my car! I guess it's probably around time to throw them away, I don't think I can sell 3 cigarettes that are a year old!

My last cigarette was probably in early June, the one before that was probably in April. I just haven't thought about smoking anymore!

I just cannot stand it when all my friends aren't right here where I can wrap my arms around them and take care of them ... course, they take care of me too. So it all works out pretty darned good!

And heck, I wouldn't even have my Cowasocky if it wasn't for you, so you'd better not run and hide. This is your house right here too so just jump in here and make yourself comfortable. You know nearly everybody in this place and their all good folks!

Hey guys! Just a quick fly by to tell you I survived the shopping adventures today. I am still presenting with increased anxiety but it will pass. I love the cow-a-socky photo! I had to send it to my hubs because he is a motorcyclist enthusiast. I told him that TT and SC rides them all over town. (You guys remember when I wanted to win a cow!) Well this is just another reason to own a cow! It can replace that darn three wheeler Honda gold wing. I told my husband to trade it for a cow.

I don't get upset. It never does any good. So I just do what my granddaughter taught me.
