OMG Nurse Jackie. I met her already in real life! She was a big time diverter at work. I hated working with her because I knew I had to count the narcotics very slow. I work in Rehab so I was really ...... that she would steal people's drugs! However, I love Nurse Jackie.....
BTW that nurse got greedy and screwed up and was fired.....

Sounds like we have our own little "nurse jackie" type around here stealing gram's liquor..hmmmm??? SC????

I bet that nobody here ever saw the show Oz that was on HBO many years ago? That was another fave of mine that I was sad to see go off the air.

Niptuck was another until it got a little crazy towards the end.

YES!!! Somebody else who saw and liked Oz!! That was a great show!! Brutal, brutal show about prison life, but extremely well-done . I also loved the Sopranos.

LOL, I guess I was still overseas and didn't get to see all those programs on television you guys are talking about. But its interesting to me at my age to listen to all you nurses describe some of the inner-workings of a hospital seeing that I'm probably in my twilight years.

The last time I had to go to a hospital for a procedure they wanted me to sign a paper that said if I died they were going to take me straight to the morgue or something and not try to do anything about it.

I told them he** no, I'm not signing that paper. If I start to croak I want everybody off their azzes and on their feet doing something about my croaking situation. I have animals at home that need to be fed and grandkids that need to be hugged.

I told them boy!!!

Pretty loud too.

Sopranos was one of the best shows ever! I still watch the reruns when I get a chance. And don't let old SC fool ya! The only reason that he is offering anything is because he drank the good stuff! Right after he drank it he started posting weird drunken babble here! So now he is feeling guilty and trying to make up for it somewhat

TT don't ever go into a rehab facility.....since starting (4 years ago) I seen 5 nurses fired for stealing patients drugs. This is a problem in Wisconsin. Its sad and very unfortunate.

Hey Sdh.....that Old Milwaukee was in TT's fridge, not mine. It is still nasty and cheap. I figured TT put it in there thinking it would stop us from bumming his booze, but he underestimated the number of people visiting his house who will drink anything....it is almost gone too. Along with all that good stuff I put in there. But forum dollars are like our government's dollars, I can print as many as I want so I will restock tomorrow. Would restock tonight, but I do not go to the store without my teeth, wherever they might be.

And where did your like button go tg? How can I show the love with no button?

Sadly, I even know a parent with disabled kids, who got addicted & stole all of their meds...It was sad & tragic on a whole other level...
