I am so glad for you to have been able to go and see and enjoy her company, the stories, the jokes, the memories - and she be able to enjoy it herself with all of you, all her family there.

Her "little" boat story is really not so little, is it? I am glad that she shared it and that it will make things easier for you and the others; I am glad that Hospice is there for her to make it as smooth a transition, a sailing, as possible.

Gummy, I can not find the words to express how much your post moved me. Your mother is a very strong person. May you all be granted strength to get through this most difficult time. I am so thankful that you got to spend this time with your Mom and family for more memories to carry with you.
