That really is a sad thing to have to be armed and ready for anything while you are out having fun. I am not a gun enthusiast but after seeing the local police chief on the news advising women to arm themselves because of the rise in violent crimes against women I may be rethinking it and may soon be armed myself :(

Have fun in Tuscon TT! I know that you have wanted to visit and meet some people there so I hope that you have alot of fun :)

Hey all, i feel like it has been forever since i've been here. Man too many pages to catch up on so i hope i didn't miss anything super important.

The new job is going.... well interesting is a good way to put it for now. I won't even have a desk (maybe no personal computer either) so if i want my reference books i'll have to leave them in a common area or carry them in and out each day. I HATE that i'm having to stay till 5:30 or later, i've been a early worker for a long time. Until i get my permanent badge and accesses i have to be there when the "escort" is. I just feel exhausted when i get home, i'm still waking up before 6 am and not going in to work till 8:30. Just new job issues, i know they will get worked out... eventually.

Hey TT, hate to hear that about the danger but AT LEAST you have the option of personal protection. Hoping you don't need it but that has to help you feel a little more secure. Keep your eyes open and your holster clear.

Salem, I am a huge proponent of self defense and 2nd amendment rights. To do it right you need to take the time and get into it slowly. Do the research up front, you have the talent to do that from what i've seen and i'm sure there a few others around that can offer their perspectives.

Thanks oly. My husband has been raised around guns and is very familiar with them so I am sure that I will have no problem with them. Trust me I would not carry one unless I was trained and prepared to use it :) Right now I carry a large key ring in my fist with a key sticking out between each finger prepared to take someones eyes out if needed in a parking lot lol

It really does suck trying to get used to new hours and adjusting to a new job in general. Hopefully it is all going to be worth the adjustment phase for you in the end :)

loving this tank. The second one i made didn't work very well, i think the hole is too big.

Hey oly, I had that problem for a few too. I started using the self piercing saddle valve that I showed you and it makes the perfect tiny hole. No more troubles at all since :)

Oh btw guys...I may have to bury my favorite pv. It is shot. Hubs looked at it. I am pv shopping as we speak...of course I have 5 tabs opened on my browser. :)

You know that there is only 1 PV worth having lol Just imagine if it had not been a Buzz and was dropped so many times ;)

Salem-it is the wiring. I never seen anything like it. No damage from the drops. The wires are brittle and cracked. The red one has numerous cracks like a rat was chewing on it. LOL It is still shining a nice red led. We worked on it all day....will work on it tomorrow. However, I decided-well ur DH decided I need to buy a new one.
