I had one boy ...

Let me put it this way. I was always real, real nice to the guys running gas stations because I wanted to be able to help this boy find a job when he grew up.

Today ... he's an entomologist, is sought after for research projects by major corporations, is married to a university professor and has never really quit going to school and studying.

You never know about them ...

TT - Seriously? If so, kudos to you for encouraging him. I wish there were more people like you.

Yep, seriously.

My other boys were all over-achievers, excellent grades all through school, good in sports, real active in church, hard working and never a problem with the law, drugs or booze. They've all grown to have nice families and good careers and I'm very proud of them.

But this one son marched to a different drummer I guess. He never got in any real trouble but he sure as heck did everything he shouldn't and nothing he should have. And he wasn't a rude or disrespectful boy, he was just in his world.

I lived and worked overseas and the kids got most of their education in Switzerland and then they came back to the States to go to college. The other boys I never worried much about them being here and on their own ... but my problem boy, I have to admit I was nervous when he came here to study.

He went to school first in New Mexico and something about it clicked with him and he settled down and got busy. It wasn't anything my wife or I did, he seemed to make this change on his own.

But now he has a fine job, is real big in the Masons, has a very nice family and is doing very well for himself.

Like I said, you just never know. They are capable of really surprising you.

Hiya Laurae, Good Morning!!!

kgj, I'm originally from southwest New Mexico down south of Lordsburg. I had to keep an U.S. address for a number of reasons so we were considered residents even though my actual residence was overseas.

I forgot to say, we had to watch our physical presence in the States to keep our status both in the States and overseas.

LOL, I can only wish.

I bulked up over the winter thinking the Dallas Cowboys would call me to play for them, but with this football mess they haven't called.

Now I got all this bulk and don't know what to do with it.

Might as well go see if my wife will fix me some of that potato chips and bacon in Shake 'N Bake batter and deep fry it for me.

Just a lil' snack.

There's an ECF Forum, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...1512-pre-veteran-thread-1030.html#post3506537, that salem wanted me to check on. I guess they help newbie ECF Veterans with avatars. Nice little Forum.

LOL! Nope T, thats not how it works  You pick an theme for the day that you turn and they all change their avvies to whatever you pick. For instance if you picked cows for a theme, you would see a whole lotta cows grazing around the forum the day that you "turn" into a vet :laugh::laugh::laugh:
