TT, Just a heads up....

Satan called....He wants his weather back!

I told him that as soon as your granddaughter went home if not before that you would get right on it! I know you don't want to have to be selling them cows, and ya need the corn for the still. I notice salemgold, gramva, sdh and some of the rest are drying up to nothing til they are becoming unrecognizable--gotta get some cooler weather, rain etc....

Now toto I did not even see this until I looked ................. under the covers :)

The wimmen (wife and granddaughter) have gone off to bed and my dog Chance and I are sitting here looking at TV and sharing some Cheese Whiz crackers and I'm having iced tea and he's drinking water.

I spent a good part of the evening coloring in my granddaughters coloring book with her. She seems to be of the opinion that I have some potential in the coloring arena. I was very flattered. I did note that Crayola Crayons are a lot "waxier" than they used to be which mutes the colors quite a bit and leaves a waxy shine to my art work. Crayons were a lot better 65 years ago, even 40 years ago. Its nice to be old and to be able to see this difference.

It got up to 110 degrees today. Just stinking hot.

But it was a nice day and I didn't have to go to work.

So how was work for you guys?

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Hey TT! Glad to see you're having some fun indoors where it's cool!
I've missed your stories and have had to entertain myself lately. Remember my brother's chickens? Well he called me today to tell me that the reason one of them isn't laying eggs is because it's turned out to be a boy. Oh well. No eggs, but it'll be BBQ chicken in a few weeks.
I'm thinking (again) of getting myself a Phid..I was going to last December but decided to wait & see if I liked this vaping thing.
See..random thoughts floating everywhere. I need more entertainment!

I had to go out shopping. I had a plan for Wally World. I swear that place traps me/sucks the life out of me. I bet you never met a woman who hated shopping. I love on-line shopping but the Wally World experience I hate with utmost passion. I only buy stuff their when I cannot find it elsewhere.

I usually work weekends now. I can pick an choose the hours I want to work. Since hubs works full time he doesn't want me to get the old dreaded "nurse burnout". I use to work 40-60 hours a week and now I can barely do 16 hours. I plan on full time when he retires (he is 10 years older than I).

Hey Toto, the cows are long gone. My grass quit growing and the ponds dried up a couple months ago and I sold them off while the prices were high. Feed is too high to buy and it just wasn't worth fooling with. I still have the horses and am having to buy feed for them and I keep them watered with well water.

Got some land I can sell you cheap though ... and I'd love to see the devil take his weather back. I think a lot of people around here would be glad to see that. Their saying there's a 20% chance of rain next Tuesday which means it ain't gonna rain but keep on hoping.

Hi techno.

Well, its good to have a boy chicken around too. And they do make great alarm clocks. Nothing like waking up to the sounds of a rooster crowing, especially when they decide to crow at three in the morning! And I've known some that would!

I don't think you would regret getting a Phidias. The 18650 battery at 2600 mah really does the job and although its rated at 3.7v it sure seems like a lot more. It makes a LOT of vapor ... all the time.

The only negative side is that they are so nice and pretty I only use mine at home because I don't want to take it out with me and ruin it. It was a gift from a sweet, tiny little shorty girl here on this forum and I kinda treasure it.

I have no doubt you would enjoy it though. Now keep in mind that the E-Power probably does just as good and is a lot less expensive.

Your husband and I have a lot in common.

We both like you younger chicks!

And I don't know about him, but a younger chick with a good job would be like heaven!

Okay. One last post before bedtime...I wish it really was a Red Lobster crab fest! Yummy...In long term/rehab facilities the state comes into a facility. The State employs highly skilled RN's to detect mishaps/mistakes and will monitor the facility. If the facility is making too many mishaps...they receive fines and a bad write up.

I haven't see a raise in 3 years. Its kind of stagnant right now. I am too lazy to look for other employment. When I first started this job 4 years ago...I was working 3 jobs. Extendicare, private agency(going to different facilities) and I had a private case. Hubs wasn't too happy with making hot dogs in the micowave. (That is his way of making fine cuisine.)
Good night for real this time.

Good morning everyone!
Reading through these this morning - oh my!

Gram - the exploding cat was a terrible, horrifically funny story - bwahahaha  Probably because there is some truth to it, no doubt.

Popcorn Balls? I'm walking away from that one...walking away, yes indeed.

There's more to be said, but I haven't had enough coffee yet. These two just really stuck out in the crowd. Imagine that.

Woot!
Now it's a 1001 - only 999 to go -- LOL!

PS - I know you do, TT.
(As if you needed a prize to get me to come visit you....you know better. ;) )

Ooohh, it would be soooo much fun if you could come visit!!! We could run the air conditioner and talk about how hot it is outside and I could tell you soooo many stories about my adventures and mis-adventures all over the world!

I've got stories that people haven't even heard yet and I'm pretty sure I could keep you on the floor laughing and holding your sides! Or with tears in your eyes from some things I've seen, or with cold chills from the close calls! All kinds of stories!

And all true .... well ..... mostly true.
