WooooooHooooooo, we've got a total of a quarter inch of rain the last two days. Its not a lot, but its a big help. We have a little rain coming down this morning with a lot of lightening and thunder. Problem is ... its been so dry the lightening has caused about 15 fires in the area, but so far they have been able to get on them pretty fast. The other miracle is that except for a couple five minute outages, we haven't lost our electricity. That's almost unheard of, especially with the severe storms we had yesterday.

The right ankle is looking better this a.m. Beginning to see some real improvement.

Last night I loaded one of those old timey white plastic 510's with some CaramelCream and stuck it on an old 808 stick battery with an adapter and I can tell you ... these things work as good as they always have. My only gripe with them is now and always has been - they don't hold much juice and your constantly refilling with a syringe (only way to fill them). But they do produce a nice cloud of vapor and good flavor.

We're still getting some rain with lots of lightening and thunder, so I'll post this while I have electricity. This kind of weather I could lose it at any moment.

Good morning everybody!!!

What, No Coffee? mumble, mumble, need coffee to post....Geez Louise or is that Geez Irene....

I see we're in the Army now...Welcome AG to the Nut House....Oh, I mean TexasT's House......You'll be right at home here only instead of a blue OH it is a ole worn OH....needs remodeling, but TT is short of funds until Jack Schitt sells the tractor that he stole from TT after he stole it from Gramva-who only knows who she stole it from. She must have stole more than one and sold one for green stuff to get new tile for her kitchen. Mr Gramva must be one of those Mr's that we all wished we had to get that tile up to please Ms Gramva. I'll bet he wishes that he was in the Army now. Anywho thank you for all you do for us AG....

Hope SC and Salem are beginning to get rid of the devil running willy nilly through them...Sdh think you were a little under the weather also, hope you are doing better. TT I need some of those Antibiotics that makes your whole body smaller. Glad to hear the swelling/redness is improving for you.

I saw that bowel picture. I don't think I have one of those. Is it something I can't get by without? If not, where do I get one?

Beautiful tile job Gramva...You gone and done good---best let hubby know in case you want something else done....Quite a pretty lady yourself.

That neked rain dancing must have helped some TT...On other hand sounds like you may be getting more storms then rain. Don't know if that means there should be more neked rain dancing or less to really get some rain!!!

Congratulations to all those that got Emmy's....One time I can say I am not sorry I missed it!

Do hope that anyone in earthquake had minimum damage, and that Irene plays nice on her way through....

Maybe I am caught up a bit....Main thing that I hope all of those under the weather are beginning to see some sunshine....

How are you feeling this morning salem? Hope your doing better.

My ankle is looking a lot better today!

TT

I am actually feeling a good bit better thanks for asking :) Seems to have settled in my chest now but I think my Mucinex will clear it out with time. I did manage to get my dishwasher loaded and now headed back to bed for a big old Pokey Nap :)

And I am SO glad to hear that the infection is clearing up in your ankle :) Thats some scary stuff :(

Morning toto and Sdh.

Your right toto, we had more storms than rain, but did end up with a total of half an inch and we're proud to have it! This will get the weeds growing again and I'll have something to mow!

My wifey just talked to the doctors office and their going to stick that tube down my neck tomorrow to look at my heart valves. Maybe I'll be able to get a better idea of what's going on. My wife says they'll give me some of those happy pills before they do the procedure. I guess that's okay, but I don't think I need pills to be happy.

In fact, if the doctor would say they don't need to stick that tube down my neck I'd be real happy!

Oh boy. Well, I guess I have to do it.

Stopping in....not staying. Have to make up for not doing much the first part of the week. Toto: you have been busy reading. Thank you for the nice compliments. No one else remarked on my beauty.....I think they were all jealous. Oh well, I got used to that years ago.

Salem and TT: happy to hear better news regarding health. We will all be back to normal, er usual, selves soon.

And Sd: am sharing coffee with you. Wish K-Space would stop by with donuts...am wasting away to nothing here.

Gonna go clean now.....there are things growing in my toilet stool that are scary looking....even the cat refuses to drink there now.

So glad you will be able to get that done tomorrow TT.

What I just love...not...Ya go to Dr. Get told stress is the last thing in the world ya need....Avoid stress at all costs...Then they give you all kinds of times and dates and places that you need to go to get this or that procedure/consultation done...Then when/if time comes it gets canceled and rescheduled or they don't have the order for procedure/rescheduled, etc, etc, etc....Then you get it done and it's we'll let you know results, etc. Then when you call several days/wks later to find out results...You get, oh we didn't let you know, etc....Just what is their definition of stress??????

Edit....Told ya...You already posted again...ggggg

I sure do agree with you about the stress toto. My danged heart doctor, I get there at nine in the morning for my appointment and leave there at seven in the evening and haven't had any lunch or dinner.

To me that is major stress!!!

Ha, ha, and about posting again already ... I lead a fast paced life and you have to hurry to stay caught up. Being an executive and managing a Lemonade Stand, a Fortune Telling business and picking up stuff people leave laying around in their yards is a fast paced life and I don't have time to dilly dally.

Besides, if you don't move quick the Sheriff might see you ....

I love the doctor induced stress. They stick you in a room and shut the door. This adds to the stress. This way most folks don't realize after waiting in the little room for eternity-that the doctor is only with them a few minutes.

Hubs just went to the doctor this past month for a check-up. He was very disappointed. He told me the doctor spent more time on his computer than actually talking to him. Its been a month now and he is still waiting for those test results.
