Forget coffee, TT. I brought you a big, fat espresso this morning...

I figured you might be low on caffeine after your adventures yesterday and need an extra boost.

I did read them, TT!

Way too much laughing happening over here this early.

I could tell your corpsman stories were true...something about being in the military and kinda low on the totem pole brings out the best in passive resistance and pranking, methinks. :) Good thing that Admiral had a sense of humor!

Yeah, he could have hadme executed for some of the stuff I pulled. Of course I had a couple "friends" always eager to egg me on!

The weather man is caling for a good chance of rain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Friday we will have our first daytime temperature below 100 degrees. Its only supposed to be 90. Sure glad to see both the rain and the cooler temperatures.

Maybe I can get out and riding my 4 wheeler again!

Okay gang. Its Tuesday morning and time to be getting up for work and school.

Those of you going to work I want to personally thank you for your involuntary, mandatory contributions to the Sociable Securities Fund which I will cheerfully be spending. Sure wish you were going to be able to get some of it too some day, but that's not very likely. So in the meantime, thank you and keep on paying.

And please try to refrain from blowing your vehicle horns this morning. I mean, y'all know I live way out in the country but sound carries. Be aware of my rest periods which are all day long.

Actually, I have a busy day scheduled. After I get done drinking my three cups of coffee at a leisurely pace, I'll take my first Pokey Nap and when I wake up I'll be having breakfast. Then another short nap and I really need to get outside and trim my .... fingernails.

Then I need to charge some batteries for my Buzz and I have to fill my wife's cartos for her.

Busy, busy, busy!

Lot of things to do for a retired guy.

But hey, y'all have a good time at work.

I sure hope you get some rain, TT. Cooling things off would be wonderful, I know! Gotta get you back outside and doing... :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed!

The really nice thing would be to see the ponds and lakes filling up again.

We usually do a lot of fishing but we haven't been able to at all this year. The lakes have just been too low.

And it would be nice to see the yard green again too.

Hopefully we will get enough rain that all this starts to happen. Sure would be nice!

I just can't believe you all have so much fun after I leave. You talk about an ego wake up call.....here I was last night lying awake thinking I should get back up and post to liven it up here.......I wasn't even needed.:( Seriously, it is good to hang out with people having so much fun.:)

Not much going on a Gramva's house today....about as exciting a life as TT. His is a little better, cause my fingernails don't need trimmed so I don't even get to do that. But hubs just called....I ordered new bar stools for my kitchen island cause the $12 ones I bought 8 years ago are finally tearing up....ordered on Sunday, and they are here already. Had them sent to his office since there was a chance they would come next week while we are on vacation....Ordered day before yesterday online from Target....that is some service. And lots of websites had them, but Target was way the cheapest. So I do have that to look forward to this evening.

Hoping for a more exciting day for you all. But only the good kind of excitement.

Oh and it was 10am. guess I will try again later tonight...have to run out for a appt. Have fun..

TEXAS T- I just used your name in a contest...if I win I will share. The name just fits!
