I was going to get some rub-on tattoos just so I could enter THAT contest...But, I'm way to lazy to drive all the way up to the dollar store to find some.
I had a good day with my little great niece. She lost her mother this year, and is having to start a new school, new life so to speak- so I wanted to spend a day with her shopping and just spoiling her as only an auntie can! It was nice, but I had to wait extra time for a ferry home because the damn boats actually leave on time when I'm running late...You'd have to live here to appreciate how annoying the ferry system can be!

Techno, you are what we call down here in East Texas just a really fine person. That was a nice thing for you to do even if you had to put up with stoopid boats that run on time. They should know better!

Techno, I thought about the henna tats. However, it would send my husband on a tangent. I threatened him once on getting some tattoos after having those two removed...back then it was pricey to remove. If he even seen one on me now I would think a divorce would happen...LOL

TT did you enter the tattoo contest?

Techno, that was a great thing to do for your niece. They have a car ferry in Manitowoc that goes across the big pond. Do they have allot of lakes in Washington?

I have my moments. Usually I'm just crabby and complainy but I always wear a smile.
And...I hate the boats, ..... about them constantly...but then I went and married an employee. He's retired now, and
refuses to listen to my complaints anymore. I never missed a boat when HE was working. He knew better than to let them
leave without me...

Hiya salem! I thought you had given us up for the night.

I didn't even take my last benedryl until just a few minutes ago so I could be on here tonight.

The Kids came over this evening and we had kiddies running all through the house doing what kiddies are supposed to do and the adults all sat out on the porch drinking coffee. Real nice evening.

We do have lakes, but the State Ferry System works on Puget Sound, which is a big salt water inlet considered part of the Ocean. If you've ever heard of the Bremerton Naval Shipyard, or Bangor base - they're also located on Puget Sound.
We have Orca whales and sharks and other cool marine life out there.
Remind me sometime and I'll tell you about the ferry accident I was in after I saw Jaws back in the 70s...

Well its almost 1AM here so I won't be around much longer. There were some sales that DIY suppliers have this weekend that I could not pass up. Most suppliers have regular sales but it rarely happens with the DIY suppliers

LOL, no, I didn't enter the tattoo contest.

I guess its safe for me to say this here ... and of course its just my opinion, but I was always taught to respect women and to me its hard to respect one who is all tattooed like a motorcycle gangster or something and to me, and again its my opinion, they detract from the natural beauty of a woman. Its hard for me to understand why a woman would want them ... but then, times and tastes change. I guess I'm just behind the times.

My husband feels the same way. However. The only reason I don't have a tattoo is because it would HURT...and I tend to avoid any & all pain when I can. Hubs thinks I don't have one because I respect his opinion though.

Techno, living by the ocean sounds cool! I have never taken a ferry because I am afraid of water. I have been on small boats in small ponds in the Lake of the Ozarks and Pom De Terra in Missouri...nothing bigger than that. You'll have to tell me your story some day.
