LOL, we're okay and will stay okay.

I'd sure hate to lose this house, its kinda like a museum with my travels all over the world and living in so many places and all the things my wife had me ship back here..

But the bottom line is that its all just stuff.

I kind of have to stick around though for a doctors appointment in a couple weeks.

I'm just thankful we do have that big Montana travel trailer and can live in it if we have to. My wife has it fixed up inside so that its really comfortable.

And we have the two little lake houses too, so we have lots of places to live if anything happens. That alone puts us way ahead of most people.

TT, sounds like you have your priorities right. It'd be so sad to lose all those beautiful things...but the wifey and you are more important.
And, you are lucky to have those options that many folks don't.
We'll still keep you & SC's safety in our prayers though if thats OK !

Well thank you dear, and that means a lot!

And, sometimes, a casino looks like a 5 minute walk away, but it turns out to be an hour! We've learned to stick with taxis and the monorail...:2cool:

YEP! We walked from The Flamongo down to the Luxor because it looked like it was practically next door. 3 hours later ............................

We'd make them all available for anyone who really needed them.

At no charge.

That how we do things out here.

Thats how we do them too After Hugo we only had 1 room in our house that we could inhabit. We heard on our radio that a guy drove a truck load of diapers to Charleston from Alabama. Well we called the radio station and gave the guy a place to sleep on our floor. Because at least we had a floor and were thankful for it :)

One time we were playing slots at the Stratosphere and stayed too late for the bus to get us back to the Luxor. It was hard to get a cab, and there was only 1 other couple out on the street that late & they were trying to get a cab to the Luxor too, so we offered to share one.
Turned out they were from Seattle, and lived 2 blocks away from us.
Such a small world!
