Yeah, that eGo is 3.2 volt ... not 3.7 like everything else. Really not enough power for a duel coil.
The mega dc on an 18650 batty is fantastic!

The 18650 should serve you well...it has a lot of oomph, more than the 14500.
(Oomph because I cannot remember the mAhs of the 18650 which gives you an idea of battery time)

The 18650's I have are 2600mah and Pokey is right, they will give you the ooph to power that duel coil! Your gonna love it!

Just think, Oly, if you vape like a fiend (i.e. like me) you should get nearly 9 or 10 hours out of your EPower, if not a little more.

There are two little rain clouds floating around East Texas this morning and one of them stopped right over my place and dumped some rain. It wasn't a big amount, just a shower, but it sure was nice to hear it and to get it!

My dog Chance just came in for his morning petting and our conversation. I guess he was telling me about how he spent his night.
This Schnauzer acts like he's a human sometimes, but likes to get and give a lot of lovin' and to have a little chat every once in a while. He makes these funny little talking noises.
If I howl like a coyote he'll sing with me and we usually keep it up until we get yelled at. This dog is a real character.
But ... what else would I have?

Yeah some days i'm working in an area nobody else goes into and i really like it, vaping like a "fiend". One of the main reasons i went with the 18650 is that i have a tactical light that uses 18650's so i have a charger and a couple batteries already. Maybe i should create an avatar of a tactical vapor

LOL, I was just putting some batteries on to charge.
Yeah oly, I have to agree with you on this. I have a mod called a Phidias which uses the 18650 batteries and even though they are rated at 3.7v they do give an extra punch in the power department.
I have some 16340's rated 3.6v and some others rated 3.7v and you would be amazed how much difference that .1v makes when your vaping.
Personally, I think you did good getting an E-Power with 18650's and I've been thinking about writing to DeXTeR and suggest he get some. I kinda suspect he might have been waiting until they totally resolve the button issue. Granted, it only happens on a few of them but I know he doesn't like to sell anything that isn't 100% right.
But your going to enjoy the E-Power with that 18650. There's no doubt in my mind about that. And if the switch is an issue just order one or two more of them and have them on hand if you need them. That's what I would do anyhow.
That's the sweetest thing about the E-Power ... the fact that you can change out any part of it. I like that!
