LOL Salem-I am actually reading some cleaning threads......something I needed to do...so I am catching up on maintance...or maybe you have some fabulous ideas on how to clean a mega 5ml carto? After 2.5 weeks it is loosing its flavor.

Sdh, I don't know about the mega cartos you're talking about, but I do know that I gave up on cleaning cartos a long time ago, and now I just toss them. Of course, the ones I use are probably cheaper than the ones you use...
But, if you're going to clean them with hot water...I do recommend using a blue ear cleaning bulb to blow out the water. You can cut the tip of it off to fit the carto perfectly. Somewhere there is a video showing how to do it...

Thanks for the tip Techno! I never thought about using a ear syringe. Best idea so far. Its not like I am trying to be cheap. I am just experimenting in the name of science. Oh crap, I am cheap. My longest running carto was the ce2 5 at almost 5 weeks in a tank with cleanings every week.

I used to clean my attys, then my cartos...but then I decided that vaping was becoming too fussy and I wasn't going to stick with it unless I made it as simple as possible. For awhile I bought all my cartos prefilled and used KR808s...But then I went back to the Ego and found the cheapest Boge cartomizers I could find and decided to treat them as disposable. I get about 7 days out of them ( some longer) which is fine. The darker ejuices seem to ruin them faster...
Anyway, I'm cheap too, but I'm also really lazy - so a few bucks per week on cartomizers makes me happy.
But, I often wonder if the garbage man notices the bags of cartos I toss out.
I wonder if they wonder what the heck they are...

I hated the clear cartos. The heating element was too high or something and just ruined the flavor for me.
Also, I twisted them & they came apart. Hated.
I do enjoy dripping, but cleaning attys makes me crazy!
You're right, they're not very green.

I wonder if modders would pay bucks for them. We can start a business modeled after the aluminum can industry. Pennies per pound and sell back to china for some ching! I am sure they can recycle those babies-or the modders can.
I bet we can make jewelry out of them!
I now have a great idea...I'm going to make some cartomizer earrings & a necklace...
There should be some sort of recycling program. I wonder if any suppliers are already doing that and we just haven't heard...
Its so cool! I enjoy it. This way it is more private if I want to drool at the latest and greatest item. (Without feeling guility of no purchase.) I think of it as window shopping!

Yes, I love my boges. I've tried every new thing as it comes out, but they're pretty consistent, so I always go back.
And I found them uber cheap so I bought a truck load!
I like to pop in & out while I'm at work, and can't always hang around to chat...so it's just easier to be stealth...
