There you go with the Easter Eggs again. What makes them so special? Do you make them all year around? Or are you just fancifying "boiled eggs" with a pretty name?

Or are you talking about pickled eggs?

I don't know Texanese... :)

LOL, I like all eggs but Easter eggs are best because they sometimes have my name on them. And I like the pretty colors.

But hard boiled eggs are real good and pickled eggs are good. I've never seen them down here but I know their a big thing up north.

Easter eggs and Heineken beer.

You will leave farts that people will talk about far into the future!

That's one of my favorite meals before going to WallysMart. And then go half way down any isle ... leave a good one ... and then stand at the end of the isle and watch the old ladies faces.

My brother-in-law and I have competitions doing that. He usually wins though. He's a champion farter. Green, acrid clouds of methane from the heart.

TT

OH TT! I have a friends that does that in stores while standing next to his wife LOL He takes off and leaves here there to take the blame LOL! She is clueless until people start looking at her funny :)

You must be one of the characters I've seen in those People of Walmart chain emails; specifically, that pic in which a green, acrid, cowboy-hatted cloud holds a loaf of bread in each hand, comparing the fiber content.

Cow Chip Tossin, now there is somethin I know a thing or two about!! If ya get just the right twist in your elbow and wrist....you can really sling one of those bad boys!! :)

SC

Over here in East Texas we play that a lot with the cow patties but we catch 'em with our teeth. Old Jack Schitt on down the road past the Sewage Treatment Plant always wins though because he takes his teeth out and catches them like that.

Some of these guys with two teeth, one on top and one on the bottom don't always do so well.'

They are a big thing up north? I didn't know that.

They sit on the shelf here next to the pickled pigs feet and the Penrose sausages...the pink row at the supermarket.

Or by the Slushy machine at the Rainbow Gas Garden. More pink stuff.

I was ONE of those old ladies: I could not breathe right for an hour, they called the Walmart EMT squad to bring me oxygen. I never even knew what hit me, but now I remember seeing those purple slippers with the faces standing off to one side, watching and being so proud of the created ruckus.

You mean there's fibers in bread?

I've looked but never have seen any in my bread.

Ours must be homogenized or something.

OK the next time DOG farts I'm going to catch it in a plastic baggy and mail it to TT to compare it with Easter eggs and beer.
I bet dog wins. What ya say TT want to give dog a courtesy sniff?
I bet you go down to the sewer plant just to get some fresh air after you open that baggy.

TT, ask Mrs TT to get a big glass jar. Now take canned beets, onions, vinegar and hard boiled eggs and soak them in that until the eggs turn pinkish from the beet juice. That is really good pickled eggs :)

LOL, you must be reading my mind. I was just asking her if she had a recipe for making pickled eggs!

Cool Beans ... and thanks!

Bring the beets, the onions and the vinegar to a boil first, then add the eggs. Put in the jar and let it cool; store in the fridge is better. A pinch of sugar and a small bit of allspice (very small) adds a nice cultured touch.

It speeds the pickling time up that way.

Of course, that's just what I've heard... :)

I edited it to add that the jar needs a lid. Let them sit a few days out on the counter for a slow soak and they are delicious!
