Good morning everyone and thanks for the coffee and goodies Pokey! You're the best!

LOL, I was looking back through some of last nights posts and salem had mentioned that one time old stifle had poured hot cinnamon juice in his eye thinking it was his eye medication. That really brought back a flood of memories and as I recall I did have one or two friendly comments about his doing that.

Now with LD getting into the DIY thing ... I'm sure there are new adventures for us to hear about from him. I'll just sit back and wait ...

I plan on posting some pics from our Tombstone, Az exploring yesterday. I can't count the number of times I've been to that town, but I always enjoy it. Seems like there is always something new to see and people to meet. You can find lots of interesting characters running around there if you take the time to stop and talk to them.

Course, they might have thought the same thing about me!

This sure was a fun day and the people we met made it even more interesting. We ran into two pretty young gals from France and chatted with them for a while. We lived in Holland for about ten years and used to run down to France pretty often, so we had a lot to chat about.

Then there was the guy on the motorcycle with the beautiful bird, and the locals we talked to ... all were interesting people.

On the way home we stopped and bought some locally grown pistachio nuts which are delicious ... they even have a buttery taste to them.

And we drove on back to Willcox under a beautiful full moon illuminating the mountains.

Very nice day.

Free or sdh ate what was left of the chintzy 3 doughnuts SC left us the day before...

Besides, I said some days call for more than coffee and doughnuts -- not more coffee and doughnuts. No false advertising, just bad grammar early in the day... lol

And I'm off to go get that afternoon coffee fix right now. Made strong like Espresso...too lazy to get out the espresso machine.

And no, Pad, I still don't have a Keurig. :)

Oh geez I would be in big trouble with a doughnut maker :) All that you really need to make them is a big pot of hot grease :)

You can even cheat and use pre-made biscuits - just punch a hole (of course I have a cookie cutter just for this) in the middle and fry them up, and when they're done boiling in the oil, roll them in some sugar and/or cinnamon.

Faux doughnuts, LOL!!

Keurig's are nice but I like our Tassimo better. :D We had 2 Keurigs that died after about a year of use.

True, but the last time I did that (in my teens) I almost burnt my house down when the grease got too hot. Plus, this donut maker makes baked donuts so it's healthier.
