Hey kgj! I think that you may have given the most perfect nick name to Pokey! The Pom description fits her personality quite well LOL Here it is

Pomergranate is an overly - sensitive fruit, this flavour i'm sure for you will suit. Pomergranate has a nice light sweet taste with a little cinnamon/peppery twist.

Did it once, never again - Black Friday is not for Pom. (morning kgj ;))

Online or bust. And maybe not even then... :)

I have done it in years past and got some really good deals. I would always start very early and be done by the time that the crowds started. Of course I never went after any of the stuff that people were ready to kill each other for either :)

Sounds just like me...just leave off the "ancient", LOL!

Good Morning Everyone!

Aawww, that is a sweet description of Pokey, without the ancient part of course! But I have to agree, she is very sweet and absolutely precious!

Wow, it sounds like LD's crew had an exciting time. But him giving away his laptop is just an indication of what a nice guy he is. I'll bet his nephew is proud to have that.

And salem, I've got to know. How do you make your chicken and dumplings? It seems up north a lot of people make them with kind of a bread dumpling floating on top and in the deep south its more like a noodle type dumpling mixed in with the chicken. I like them both ways!!

Today we start packing and tomorrow will begin the journey home. The decision to leave the travel trailer in Arizona is a good one I think and if we're able to take the trip to Utah and Idaho next spring, this will be the perfect jumping off point for that trip. Should work out real good.

So after tonight I'll be off-line for a few days until we get back home. We're not going to rush ... just take it easy and stop and see things along the way. I don't want to tire Mrs.TT out too much with a lot of driving, so we'll stop often and get a motel room in the late afternoon and go out for a nice dinner.

We sure are going to miss the desert and mountains. As soon as I get home I'll get an on-line photo album fixed up so if any of you are bored out of your mind and want to waste a few minutes, you'll be able to see more of our pics.

I'll be on and off here all day today. Because we're not doing ANY SHOPPING today!!

TT

That sounds like a great plan TT! I make my chicken and dumplings both ways. I like the noodle type dumplings but I have an easy slow cooker recipe that is also outstanding. With the slow cooker recipe I use 4 boneless chicken breasts, 2 cans cream of chicken soup, diced onions, 1/2 stick of butter. I let it cook 5-6 hours. In the last hour I add the Grands Homestyle Buttermilk biscuits torn into pieces. They absorb the buttery chicken mixture and it is really good stuff

I hope that you have a safe and enjoyable trip back home. I will bet that your animals, friends and family will be glad to have you back. :)

He loves it! He has always been a good kid, with a good head on his shoulders. He works full time and goes to college, so he can really use a powerful laptop.
