Hello everyone. I just got home about 30 minutes ago and am totally wiped out. So, I am going to take one of my longest naps ever but will bbl. Thanks for the nice PMs letting me know that I was missed. They were appreciated.

We did have a good time. The trip was mostly to take our birds to their avian vet which was very expensive but we did get to see our son and grandson for awhile too.

I have never been one to support a circus because of the way that the animals are treated. Well, Ringling Brothers just happened to be right across from our hotel on Saturday and Sunday. We took our son and grandson to it and I will never, ever support any circus again. Ever. There were protesters outside of the coliseum holding pictures of a YouTube video of Barnum and Baileys training practices involving baby elephants. It really saddened me that I was there and had contributed to any of it. I had not seen the YouTube video but evidently my son had.

Anyway that and the vet appointment was pretty much what we did during our stay. Now I have alot to do in preparation of getting my grandson for a week on Friday. I will pop in and out as I am able to though.

I have to say that it seems very sad here to see this thread die out after being here for almost 1 year.
