Good Morning Everybody!

Safe travels today Fram!

LOL, I was back-reading last nights subject ... leaving lights and tv's on at night. We don't have a tv in our bedroom and there are no lights on in the house after we go to bed. We live way out in the country and I always figured if somebody was outside the house and up to no good, if the lights were on they would be able to see exactly where we were and what was going on.

We have enough outside lights that at night I can see them but they can't see me!

TT

I am in the middle of very thick woods in BFE too. I have an alarm system and would hear them coming before I see them lol

We also have two devices called "Driveway Alerts." As soon as a vehicle or person enters our property from the dirt road, the alarm sounds and the second one is closer to the house.

Its hard to even get close to our place without us iknowing it. And then there's the two outside dogs they have to deal with ...

Howdy TT, ya just can't beat a good dog!! Actually about three weeks ago our area got hit!! 4 of my neighbors lost some things from their outbuildings and cars... and they got into my work truck... but didn't stay long... cuz both my dogs were up and tearin the doors down at 4:30 am.... By the time I got out to check things...they were gone!!! A few things tossed about in my truck... but tools, laptop ..etc still there, so my dogs scared them off quick!! My friends around me were not as lucky... lots of tools... and a couple of guns got taken from them!!

Not even safe in BFE!! Sometimes I think it might be worse... cuz the low lifes are bolder!!

I live on a dead end street, 1/2 mile from the police station. Trouble around here is extremely rare, but there was a situation, many years ago, when the cops were needed. Not a problem, they just blocked off the entrance to the road and apprehended the culprit. It's like the Hotel California, you can enter but you can't leave. LOL
