I really wish I had a team that I could root for that wins year after year
A few years back we had more than 20 tornadoes whip right past us. I had my grandson and his older brother here. My g/s was less than a year old. We all honkered down in the only hallway in this house (so much for open floor plans) and I laid on top of the older boy while DH laid on top of the baby. It was very scary to say the least.
Speaking of drinks... I can't believe what the hospital I work for is doing. They are removing all of the regular soft drinks and replacing them with diet drinks! In the cafeteria and all the vending machines!! I just can't believe how many rights and freedoms are being taken away!! I don't drink regular soft drinks, so it doesn't affect me personally. But, it is the principle of the thing!!
LOL, well, Mod, we have our fair share in our area! But I don't think it is fair to take away people's choices. Even though I no longer smoke, I think it is ridiculous that all the rights of smoker's are taken away. What are "they" going to decide is acceptable for us to do next?? Why do "they" get to decide??
Usually my weather-related nightmares involve tsunamis. Weird, huh??

LOL, there's no "may be" about it salem. Its coming this way. Its still one hundred fifty miles to the west of us, but moving right along.
The bad part, as I mentioned earlier, is that the storm is supposed to "stall" right over us. Right now its looking like it could be right here most of the day tomorrow too, but I'll know more when the news comes on at 10 p.m.
Its bad enough when they blow on through, but when they stall and don't move is when they become serious in a hurry.
LOL, its times like this that I wish we didn't have a two story house.
