Just posted in a forum i been asscoiated with since 2008 about a member that's recovering from a massive stroke, were all fairly close there and he posted his story.

I told him that we all needed to chip in and get him a Nintendo DS or something like it. Remember last time, Mrs TT came back with the little battery operated hand held games for 3-5 year olds lol She did not know what he wanted. He said he won't be there long enough for that
I will send him one to his home address, if Mrs. TT goes back there. I have the address, I think.
I would not do that yet. Keep them handy though. Upon admission he was told that he could possibly be out by Friday
That would be cool if he ends up being there longer though

I have only ever belonged to one other forum. I had a very close friend that I talked to there daily for two years.
She passed away and I never knew until about 4 weeks later when her DH figured out her p/w and contacted me. I was devastated. I try to make it a habit of having folks personal contact info from here in case of emergency now.

If you are not going to use it and just want to send it, go ahead. If (I seriously doubt) he does get out on Friday, he will have it for next time. If there were a next time.
