I just hope it doesn't get the bushes.

Yes, they don't come back as easily. I was worried about the fruit trees in my area. There is a farm around the corner from me that will have peaches and plums around the end of May. I got some strawberries there last week and they said the peaches and plums are doing well.

How's the weather on TT's porch today?

FranC, we had big, old storms and bunches of rain today. Wifey had gone shopping with her cousin (the weather doesn't deter them from shopping) and I got a new battery charger out of the deal and the gals even got their toe nails done! I told them they should have got a tattoo too. LOL.

So I watched television, had two dogs sitting on me because of the lightening and thunder and took two rel nice naps.

But we're supposed to have several days of sunshine coming up, so as soon as it dries out I'm going to have to get on the tractor and start getting busy. Just too much that needs to be mowed. I even have to mow along the sides of our dirt road or it starts to look like a jungle.

This is the first year in a long time that our plum trees didn't get hit by frost. The blue berries seems to withstand frost better, but with no frost it looks like we're going to have a bumper crop of those.

And the grass is growing like crazy! Its been so dry the last few years that mowing with the tractor wasn't a real big thing, but I can see I'm going to be doing a lot of it this year.

Yep, we went through one of those bad droughts here too. The only good part of it was that there was not much grass to mow.

It has rained here for the past few days. It was cloudy but dry enough to mow today. Luckily, that is DH's job and not mine :) Looks much better now though.

Wow! This place is very slow lately. People must have gotten Spring Fever and be getting out and about more.

I hope that everyone is doing well and is having a good night.
It was a beautiful day here. It was 60 at 9am and sunny. I didn't want to come inside but I needed sleep.

We were in the 60s earlier in the week. We are in the low 70s during the day now. We have been close to 90 already this year too though. I like the 70s.
