Saline is far purer then table salt and is used to give a wetter vape. It also helps with harsh throat irritation. Works very well to thin high VG mixes to control wicking issues. It is not used as a flavor enhancer to add saltiness.

@Fenario

sounds delish.

Here is something I made today that I love.

I did 6mg nic, 60/40 PG/VG

All TFA Flavorings.

Black Honey Tobacco - 1%
RY4 Double - 9%
Bavarian Cream - 3%
Caramel Original - 4%
French Vanilla - 1%
Hazelnut - .5% (Don't forget that decimal it's 1/2 % not 5%)

How long do you let it steep?

I make almost the same recipe but never tried the black honey tobacco in it. Just made a 60ml batch but looks like I'll make a 10ml batch with black honey tobacco.

Edit to add. The batch I made tonight I'm testing but will be much better in about a week and really good a week after that.

I like things that don't have to steep.. When I make something I want it right now :D But most of the DRY4 recipes I've made or looked at suggest a minimum of a week. For mine, 2 weeks is when it comes into it's own.

I don't think it really needs steeped like most here say.

I'm vaping Rwhy4 right now that I made about an hour ago. All the steep it got was a 20 minute hot bath in the sink.

Tastes great to me... :/

Perhaps it doesn't "need" to be steeped to be an enjoyable vape. Folks are simply pointing out that it changes over time...and after reading the entire thread, the consensus is that it is definitely better to most after steeping.

'Glad to hear you like it fresh! We're mixing up several variations tonight, and we'll be trying them out tomorrow...and every few days/weeks after that. So it's good to know they'll be enjoyable "test vapes" :)

Tested crock pot steeping yesterday on dry4 recipe and there is a notable difference with heat steep method.

Fresh mix left, 3 week right

appx 8 hours crockpot on warm left, 3 weeks right

Something obviously changed rapidly overnight.

I always make 60 ML at a time.
I procrastinated a little longer than usual since I didn't have enough nic cut down ready to mix another batch. So I pulled some out of the freezer and waited an extra day.

The only difference to me is, the nic oxidizes a bit and my blend turns from yellow to orange. It gets a bit smoother as well.
