Inexperienced Oh My. I think you may want to check your facts on that. Several here that have responded to this post have given much to this DYI sub forum and have been doing so consistantly for quite a while now.
Well my quote was based on 2 things, the answers from ppl with less then a yr vaping, and most importanly nobody gave the most common advice given on ECF, we all have different taste buds, I've never followed a recipe to a T, I'm sure nobody does, its a guideline. Trial and error is the best way to go, its cheap enough to toss in a worst case scenario. To all the folks venturing into DIY remember we ALL have different taste buds, make your juices in small batches without the Nic, let them steep a week or so and tweek it from there. Goodluck

And some people have been vaping the same juice, ego and carto setup for nearly three years. So if you believe the amount of time someone has been vaping has anything to do with being able to help others you are mistaken. Some of the best juice out there was made by people who were pretty green themselves when they struck gold.

There are plenty of store owners in my neck who have also been in it for a long time. Yet they themselves have never once even tried a premium juice line. Most of them started with Dekang and some of them still push Dekang as the holy grail to this day (@ $1/ml) because it's most profitable to someone who cares about nothing but how much blood they can suck.

Posts like this in fact are why much of the old blood have left ECF and formed private groups to avoid elitists. Most of us came here for the same purpose to share ideas, beliefs and learn from each other.

I think TFA Peach (Juicy) is a good single flavor. It was the first thing I ever made.

Cheers,
Steve

Big +1. It's also a very easy flavor to add other flavors to. A little sweetener, a little strawberry, etc... And voila!

Your getting opinoins from inexperienced folks, not claiming a throne or anything but i noticed something, the best advice i have ever gotten was that EVERYBODY has different taste buds, you may hate something 1000 ppl love, you may love something 2000 ppl hate, its all up to your taste budz, recipes are just a guidline, youll most likely tweek them to your own taste. Start with single flavz to get an idea how they taste and the strength. Anyways id try watermellon @ 15%, Juicy Peach @ 17%, blueberry candy @ 18% (tastes like a blueberry fritter) I know its a TPA question but Harvest Berry from Caps @ 8%.. try those flavz, worst case you hate them but they make great mixes. cheers and good luck

You sir are sadly mistaken! Most if not all of these people that replied are true helpers to this forum. I am a noob myself and the help I have received from them is priceless. I am learning from them each and everyday! So for you to say they are inexperienced is totally absurd!

But if I had to pick...Orange Cream.

Ditto on this. Mine was just okay the day I made it, but within a week it was far better than the "Orange Dreamsicle" that I bought from a local B&M.

I mixed it at 10% with .5% TFA Sweetener. The sweetener seems to bring out the orange a little.

And yes, I am an amateur DIYer, but I have vaped enough juice to know what tastes good to me. Something that helps is that I converted a friend to vaping, and we are learning to DIY together. It is really helpful when 2 people can taste a recipe and discuss what we just created. Being a beginner to DIY does not mean that you can't create an excellent tasting juice.
