I spent a while researching ecigs through the information and posts found here, and finally convinced my husband to give them a try. He is on day 5 of using an ecig, and down to 5 'real cigarettes'/analogs a day - down from a pack and a half, which is fantastic!

I appreciate all the members input here, and will continue to use this forum to get information about vaping!

On a side note, I have never smoked, and this forum has really helped me understand what he is going through as a smoker. I have been a lot more patient with him through this process, something that we both appreciate! Best of luck to all and thanks for all the hints and tips!

Congratulations to both of you :)

Smoking is the hardest thing to try to stop, so many of us never believed we could ever do it. It was always hard on my family too, when the kids would bug me and try to guilt me into quitting it just made me feel like a bad person so to calm myself down I would have a smoke! I'm glad you are being patient and caring with him, I'm sure that's making the transition so much easier for him too.

This e-cig thing really will work, just give it some time and be sure to ask for help if you need it. :)
