What wonderful pictures of everyone's pets! I've really enjoyed looking at them, thanks for sharing! I even got DH to sit beside me to see what great people you guys are, here. And that doesn't happen very often (him sitting here reading ECF!) We've had a quite a few "oohs and ahhs" admiring everyone's fur-friends. And a few laughs, too! Mist, know what you mean about those river otters! and K5, what amazingly funny and fitting names you find for those dogs and cats!
Fran, have you got a scanner? You could use that to upload an old photo? Like this, be right back...

Hey man I just want to say I didnt post in your other thread I was actually so disheartened by it that I didnt know what to say. But I lost my dog some years ago and it is like losing your best friend. Nothing can really take the place of that special dog. I hope your heart finds healing. I believe but not 100% sure that its actual bible docterine that says something like all dogs go to heaven. I believe that is true and has given me peace knowing that. Be well.

Son, it's always hard to speak to someone about their loss, especially when it touches a place of loss in your own heart. I'm sorry for your loss, and I also believe our animal companions will be in Heaven waiting for us.

They put clothes on them all the time, that's her head band, Bella is a cavachon that isn't her but she looks just like that.
I don't have one of those damn things either Bo and screen through the answering machine too but you already knew that. You have a crank phone? I'm still using a can with a string.

Son, my friend, I'm so sorry for your loss and know how that feels. It gets better but never goes completely away.
Son, Iv'e lost 3 great canine friends over the last 30 years. Still get a little twinge when I think about each one.
They gave a lot of good years of love and loyalty though, each of them. I gave it back too so, all in all, it's a positive thing. That's why I keep rescuing critters.

Thanks, Son, I can appreciate that. I have a hard time knowing what to say when someone is hurting or grieving, especially when it hits close to home. In fact, I didn't even have intentions to post about the circumstances at all, it sorta just "slipped out". Guess that's what a heavy heart can do for ya. But I am so glad that, in retrospect, that I did share -- everyone's kindness here has helped me tremendously.
I believe it, too, Son, and it has brought me peace knowing that to be true and that others believe it as well. Thank you, again, for your kind words.
