Received a box (??) today from Marlboro. Found it odd because they've never sent me anything like this in the past, only coupons. Inside it said Happy Birthday and had some sunglasses in it. No need for it, but there was a microfiber pouch for the glasses.

Perfect size for my ProVari.

Thought I'd share the irony with you guys.

if there is one thing i can thank Marlboro for it is that they still send me cool things for my birthday and they do have cool contests for prizes. I hope they wont get made that I dont smoke anymore if I ever win a prize. Ive gotten the sunglasses and bottle opener and both were pretty decent for free gifts. I will continue to accept my marlboro gifts as I think thats the least they can do since I cant get back the life I wasted smoking thier miserable product.

It's a hollow gesture..... They don't care about anything but profits.

I'd send them a few dozen burnt cig butts stuck together with a few juicy lung-oysters in a bag. Or better yet.... Send them a gift feom these guys...poopsenders - the ULTIMATE gag gift - SWEET revenge at its finest

I hate to break it to you, but most businesses are for-profit. As much as I can hate on the tobacco companies for my old smoking habit, I actually had a lot of good times smoking, even if it was unhealthy and dangerous. I don't hate big tobacco, I hate that people continue to fall for it.

In order to "break it to me" I'd have to be unaware of the fact to begin with... I know businesses are out to make money. But not all businesses sell their souls and the lives of their customers to stay in the black....like the tobacco companies do.

Did you ever call the CEO of RJR to wish him a happy birthday? No? Me either... We must be horrible people then.
