Thanks for the feedback 42109 & 5cardstud :)

42109, instead of explaining, I'll add pictures, I hope that helps to better see what I've done?

Changes: Last improvement, I had two accidents, she fired without knowledge, thank goodness my atty took those beatings :w00t: It was also getting annoying having to slide the bottom down each time, sometimes I did it too hard for fear the ground was touching, and the bottom fell out, ack! So...

I turned the screw around so the bolt is inside, and made a make shift spring out of a paperclip. Works really good so far! I hold down the top with my thumb & finger and push on my pinky.. she springs back to shut off :p I hope this trick does it.

I also removed the LED.. maybe it's in my head but I swear the batteries weren't lasting as long.

PS.. the whistle was purchased at my local dollar store for $1.00 - Sorry for the blurry steam pic... Oh yes, I would really like to add.. besides the batteries/atty, and if you have a thumb tack, and paperclip, this unit will cost you $2.00 to make. I think it was a dollar for the screw, bolt, and finished washer. Everything else, priceless! Sorry I couldn't help it... :p the plastic the thumbtack is inserted in, comes with the whistle and hopefully you can see, you just shove the tack up the atty hole haha. If you're Canadian like me, and don't want to shop everywhere for whole bunch of different items... I bought my batteries and charger from a Canadian retailer electronic-cigz.com (where I buy my atomizers too) - Sean is awesome and will help you.

That mod is fantastic :)

and you are very resourceful in Canada, I know

I also agree with you about the LED I have stopped using them now, as I also think they waste battery life? all in the mind......

They probably don't, but its a psychological drain...........and better for stealth vaping

What's next???

Hey all, thanks for all your feedback :) That's awesome, I'm stoked!!
I'm not sure where you can buy these in the states, I sorta lucked out, I was looking for a flashlight at first.. saw the whistle and luckily the lady had a non-working whistle behind the counter, so bonus I could actually test if an AA would fit in there - she gave it to me :D Awww- my lucky whistle :p

martha1014: Cost: $2.00 (minus battery, atty) - There are no wires, no soldering needed. Not to make it sound confusing, but mine does have a wire, only because I messed up and filed the hole too big for the atty connector. If you file it nice and tight though, a wire shouldn't be necessary as the atty connector will touch the body on it's own. Perhaps take a look at my post #21 - I attached pictures of what it looks like on the inside. Hope that helps....

yano_jl: I've never soldered either, but apparently I was a natural first time, though right away I found it way easier to put some solder on the wire, and then heat it to wherever you're soldering it too. Clean, fast and easy, maybe even for edward shaky-hands??
