I finally gave up and got an atomizer so I could drip. I like the idea so I don't have to waste a tank or carto on a flavor I don't like.
The kid at the shop in OKC suggested flushing it with Everclear (190 proof) to flush it out between flavors. I tried watermelon, really nasty tasting to me so I flushed it with the Everclear let it sit for about an hour and tried Rootbeer. It still taste like the watermelon. Suggestions?
I'm tired of filling things up with juices that taste good for about 2 hours and then get nasty tasteing. I've just about gone broke doing this and I got about 30 different 5ml bottles to try to find something I like.

I use unflavored to help clear a liquid out of an atty. usually unflavored will dilute the unwanted flavor enough so I can vape it til it is gone (usually have to vape unflavored for a little while) or I will drip several drops of unflavored and then blow out the atty (I use a drip tip and blow through that onto a tissue)

oh and ps most of us have to go through a lot of liquids til we find some we like/love. I actually vape unflavored a lot (50/50 pg/vg is what I like)

Go to want2vape.com and buy some Atty Refresher. It's the real deal. I've never had a flavor it wouldn't remove. Google "grimmgreen atty refresher" to see a review. You'll have to sit through some juice reviews before he gets to it.

If you want to use Everclear, you''ll probably have to leave it submersed overnight.

I use diet tonic water (no sugar) and a mason jar with lid. I first do a quick rinse with the Everclear, then I put the atty (usually clean many at once) in the mason jar with some tonic water. Then I shake the jar for a while. Once I think it is clean I take it out, blow out the excess water and let it dry for a bit. Seems to get even the worst flavors out of my atties.

Try distilled white vinegar. It is acidic and may get the watermelon out. I use a mix of Everclear, white vinegar and distilled water. Always distilled. Don't use apple cider vinegar etc. I reuse it a couple of times to cut cost an so I don't have to make as many trips to the liqueur store. Isopropal an Denatured would be bad if it got into the liquid. I let it dry over night in old cigar box I converted to hold my stuff. I made the mistake of leaving it out on the kitchen table and a damn Fruit fly got into the tank and I had to disassemble it to get it out. Hope it works when it dries.

What ratio of Everclear/distilled white vinegar/distilled water do you use. That combo would really work good for me since I have to keep all the distilled stuff to disinfect my breathing equipment.

When I first started vaping juice taste would come and go. But moslty like you said everything just tasted bad after awhile. I thought it was my juice as well or maybe cartos??? But after reading some post about how the first few months go with taste and your taste buds I found out it was quite common. I had a good month ( 2nd one I think ) where everything tasted the same and that taste was bad!. If I was lucky some things tasted better the first few cartos fulls. Even now nine months in it seems like taste is still improving. Same juice and methods. At the time I just found something I could stand and waited it out. Still tasted better than a Cig.

i am wondering if denture cleaning tablets might work. it works great on coffee pots :) Ill never know until I try I guess.

I use denture cleaning tablets to clean my attys. but I don't clean my attys until they aren't working well. the cleaning might help or might not. my attys last a month or more (usually more) before I think of cleaning them.
when I am dripping and testing flavors I just vape through the old flavor with unflavored (mentioned above). I don't want to waste time waiting for an atty to dry when trying flavors.
