I have been vaping for about 11 mos and have never had residue from vapor on my windows. Weird. What brand juice are you using. If using something with essential oils or food coloring added that could be the problem. I will not use any juice with oils or food coloring. If you are not sure what's in your juice, ask who makes it what they use. My advice would be not to VAPE any juice with oils or food coloring added, as we want only the bare essentials in our juice. 4 components PG VG NIC & FLAVORING. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:

Since it has become cold I've had a buildup on my car windows (my husband too, and he vapes different juice than me) but I would describe it as a film, not crystals. It does make it very hard to see at night. It has come off pretty easily with just windex for us, though.

Actually this also happened to the window in our little office where we both vape a lot!

The temp is most definitely a factor though. I vape in front of a monitor all day and there's no build up.

You really need to find out what is happening.

E-liquid has nothing to crystallize. At best, a thin Film will develop ant I still think it is from Flavorings more than the PG/VG, unless People are practicing blowing Clouds with windows up while Driving.
Not the smartest thing to be doing.(obstructed View)

Been Vaping for 18 months and cleaned my glass once.

the car interior itself will give off gas and settle on the glass.
My wife's car (no smoke, no Vape) dirtier windows on the inside.
My car, (vape but not heavy), cleaner windows on the inside.

Only difference is her car is newer and the interior is fogging up the windows inside.

My $ is on your car's fault not your vaping.

My 2 cents,

This is to funny! I was just searching for this very topic a few nights ago! A friend and myself work together, were in the car most of the day. We both vape all day. We can't see out the windshield! It's covered in a thick film. I'm telling you it's next to impossible to clean off! It's not a particular juice. We both hate each other's juice, and vape all different juices. But as I said, it's two of us vapeing in a closed car for hours everyday. We've wondered about what is in our lungs, but I just figure it's better than a cigarette!

My 2 cents,

Hit the nail on the head here~! The materials the dashboard is made out of releases gases when in direct sunlight that creates a film that is very smeary on your windows. Very hard to clean off! My Tucson was at least five years old before it stopped happening.

By the way it took 1 and 1/2 hours to clean all 6 windows. I used windex first, then goo-gone, then peroxide cleaner, then windex again.

Works best with a microfiber DRY, as it tends to flake off instead of smear around and make a huge sticky mess that looks worse than the film did.

My passenger window and back window were the worst because I like my driver window open, and I noticed all the vapor floats that way and just sits against the windows.

I even tried it again, vaped the cyclops vapor, blew it against my window over and over again, in a matter of 1 day, I can feel the sandy-ish/ sticky-ish film building up. Never again will I vape from cyclops!!

I get the film on the inside of my windows too. It made me wonder what lingers in the body, but I won't go back to smoking cigs, that is for sure. I park my car under a lot of trees at home so I wash it weekly - guess the inside of the windows will just be a part of the job. Never had any crystals though and certainly not "strings" of residue.
