As I was sat outside at the pub, communing with all the other smokers, surrounded by ashtrays piled high and vaping on my eRoll not craving a cigarette at all.

Answers?
"Well, clearly it does as I am using this whilst you are smoking a cigarette"
"doesn't work in what way?"
(Neither of which I was brave enough to say, not wanting to be drawn into a long debate in my recreation time)

I was actually chatting with a couple who had quit cold turkey a couple of years ago, and they were great, very encouraging and interested, and a couple of other people who were still smoking, but also interested.

I completely understand the reaction, although mine when I first saw someone using an ecig was the complete opposite, like "where can I get one of those, does it work" etc.

Basically I think there's so many smokers that don't want to give up (I was one too), but know without a doubt they should...

I hope that it works for me, down to 1 cig a day, 2-3 puffs at a time, and that seems to work. Also instead of smoking it without thinking, as i used to, I analyse each puff and ask myself what it is about it that I like. .... Well that mental talking to means that I put it out quite quickly.

Good luck everyone in switching

I understand their skepticism, when my husband first got his ecig, I just thought to myself it won't work. Three days later I've finished my pack and notice he hasn't smoked at all, I asked for a puff and was blown away. Vaping is just one of those things that won't click in your brain till you try it. As society we are so used to the status quo of smoking

I had no intentions of quitting really. I came down with a terrible cold/flu last December and couldn't smoke analogs. They made me go into an instant coughing fit and they tasted bad. I wanted a smoke but couldn't suck one down. I was having serious nic withdraws. Not only was I sick but I was climbing the walls from no cigarettes. I decided to pick up a Blu to see if I could get my nic that way. It worked great. So great in fact, 5 days later when I was felling better I didn't want an analog. I simply never went back to smokes.

Its funny, me and my girl went to a local vapemeet last night for Richmond Vapers and we have a private room at a sports bar we use. To get to it you have to walk through the bar. In the bar they allow smoking, and it was amazing how not tempting the smoking bar was. I talked to a couple in there and they loved my eVic. They were very nice and curious, but not quite ready to try it out. I gave them a card to the local B&M and maybe one day they will make the leap.

Yes, four years!
Started with I think a 901 cig alike, all that fiddling with tea bags and the like.

It all got too difficult to maintain and find juices I liked, so stopped. But still got emails from my vendors, and decided to have another go, using an eRoll for out and about and an iclear at home.

Seems to be much more successful this time, I love the eroll and thinking about getting an ecab for home, but I don't really need it!

My fave vape is now strawberry or raspberry menthol.

Who's your vendor? I'd love to try them, I'm looking for a good strawberry that doesn't taste like gum. I want something that's mostly sweet but has an acidic undertone. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried MBV strawberry? Its my fav by far. Not gum or candy and has a nice TH. Not sure about the acidic undertone. I didnt notice one but my palette is not very sophisticated.

I use patriot from totally wicked. It's not got any acidic undertone, but the menthol is quite strong with just a hint of strawberry, which is more obvious when I'm using the eroll, which s a tank system.
