That is true, I usually don't use LR atty's on my 5V passthru's either way. I think the adapter itself may be able to take the current draw, but the LR atty's are not designed to be used on anything above 3.7V for any length of time without blowing.

I agree to this parameter mark my friend, I just mention it in case some people buy the wrong item for them

Hey LACE, here's one you may be interested in, it's only 2Amp BUT it allows you to switch between several different voltages (from 3V, 5V, 6V, 6.5V, 7V and 7.5V). It's a bit more expensive and it also has several different adapter plugs you can purchase(however, I don't think that USB or mini-USB is one of the choices). It seems it would be the perfect adapter for the GGTS passthru(if you could find a way to connect to it). here's the link:

Well I went a different way. I purchased the following off EBay for use in Australia.

2.5A Power Pack... Good quality, does not get hot:

5V 2.5A Power Supply ADAPTER FOR linksys CISCO D-LINK - eBay Power Supplies Adapters, Network Power Protection, Networking Communications, Computers Networking. (end time 27-Aug-10 23:10:17 AEST)

And this Hub:

USB 7-Port HUB Powered +AC Adapter Cable High-Speed - eBay USB Hubs, Cables Connectors, PC Accessories, Computing. (end time 17-Aug-10 17:09:50 AEST)

Transformer with this was only 1AMP and not adequate.

HUB also available at DX.

Runs like a dream.

I don't have usb passthrough for GG, i've already usb for indulgence, the BB, the Bullis and it's enough for me...

I've found a great 2A t'N'B power adapter in France. But i'm waiting for the Romain's review about the new one

Note: For people who don't know it yet : It's fully recommended to NOT USE usb mod vaping on your laptop. It could damage the motherboard.

Someone asked the same question in another thread and I answered it there with an email directly from Steve Campbell. Apparently he sent emails (but they didn;t reach all buyers) that this was a pre-order. I agree, he should have described this a bit better in his initial emailing. Anyway, don't worry you WILL get yout adapters, it's just going to take a bit longer as he just put in his final order amount(including the special ecig offer orders) on 8/10/10. Steve's a real stand up guy. Call him if you have any further questions.

Hello GG land. To anyone who has been waiting on these adapters. I just got this email from Stephen Campbell late yesterday:

Let everyone know on the e-cig forum that all orders will ship out on Wednesday of this week. The shipment will be here on Tuesday according to UPS. I will have some extra ones available for a quick sale if anyone is interested, but lets wait and get the orders out first. i'm just one person, but i've ordered 3-5 at a time on 3-5 different occasions. as far as i can tell, the seller, steve, is a one man operation. when he previously had them in stock he was quick with both communication and shipment. the price can't be beat and the quality is pretty much what we need for passthroughs provided we're not using standard 510 atomizers. he's come through several times for me, and there's plenty of posts on ecf from others who have had similar experiences. this is quite a hold up, and other usb adapters are available right now with payment methods you might prefer, but steve is a stand-up guy and the price can't be beat for the product you get.

I do agree about the hold-up. I wish Steve Campbell would have been more clear that this was a pre-order and that he didn't actually have the adapters in hand at the time he sent me the 1st email(the one in the OP). Steve is a stand up guy and I and anyone else who has tried to email or phone him in the past several weeks can attest that he immediately answers the phone or responds to the emailing.
Apparently, the items shipped from China a week or 2 later then he actually thought(this due to August/September being the "busy" month for Chinese companies who start shipping for the US Christmas/Holiday season at this time). The shipment came via Ship(not air) and then sat in a bonded wharehouse for a week or so, before his Wal-mart distributor in California picked them up and UPS'd the ecig portion of the order to him. I do apologize to those who have been waiting. I've gotten several emails and PM's from worried buyers and, even though I'm not making any money off these, I felt responsible being I was the one who passed along the initial email from Steve so I've tried to answer and keep everyone abreast of the situation to the best of my ability. I hope everyone enjoys their adapters; as I said I've owned several for many , many months(in fact I'm sitting at my desk using one with my PS version 1 passthru right now) and they've all worked flawlessly and without fail(not to mention the ridiculously low price).
