I have tried a few models.. some I use more than others... the 510 was an abused atty in my hands and only dripped.... I wanted to try something new so I decided to go out on a quest for an atty that I could use to try out dipping(not dripping).

So my first thought was the m401 and was soooo close to getting it...based off of BCs comments, but the problem is I would have to get a new set up since nothing I had seemed to use the atty...

Then a good guy OTD mentioned the joye306 an expossed atty that threaded into a 510 connection.... I thought SWEET I will give it a try......

Purchased from RMV (also suggested by OTD)(very reputable biz IMHO) 10 306a atties. I figured it would hurt to have extra just incase.

So. If you love the 510 you will love the 306a FME both performed equally great :D......

Now the interesting part.... DIPPING oh my so different and so easy..... NO chance of flooding, well for me at least :p, AND if you still wanted to drip it is easier to aim at the bridge hehe. I also would imagine easier to clean... but I will find out that 2 months into my first atty hehehe j/k

now I have seen floating around the ECF the infamous edobbit (sp) which seems like a really neat idea, but it also seems like it would take a long time to get, sooo I figured(I am sure someone else figured or could figure as well so no worry about first claim hehe) that since the atty is exposed I could purchase something similar... and it would be ok even if it was a little bigger so I am about to purchase this... or something similar.

Which I would think would work just as well and be just as easy to carry around...... I am also still going to use one of my wife's old contact lens case as suggest by many dipping fans here.....

so that is it probably one of my longest posts ever hehehe

Thanks

i haven't dipped yet, but will soon with 401...might try 306 later cuz a local has em...can't believe i forgot to try dipping! seems real convenient & good for flavor...

about e-dobit, just my opinion, its likely not as good or easy as dipping...fibers get stuck to atty, juice doesn't come out consistent depending on the thickness of juice...i found i'd rather drip or fill carts...

the contact lens dip method would probably be easier & quicker anyways, 1 second dip & its done, thickness would not be an issue...but since i haven't dipped yet, u know more about dipping than me...btw, there are 510-401 adapters out now, but i guess u don't need that since u got 306...peace duck

I in turn was steered towards the 306 with the help of Gatsby, Wench and several others. Love it when info is shared openly!

But Sir Duck, what are the items pictured? A link perhaps?

My source of frustration with the 306 was not the model itself, but the impossibility of finding a contact lens case that wouldn't leak in my pocket/bag. And dipping out in public or on the road is kind of a hassle.

That said, I do like the 306 attys I've got around (from RMV and Electronicstix, both excellent providers of the 306). I just only use them at my desk when I want to try a bunch of different flavors.

They're also easier to clean IMO. There's no atty barrel (like on the 510) for the liquid to run down while it drains. So propping them upright overnight lets them drain thoroughly without any messy parts.

Question: do you get better flavor on the 306 than the 510? And do you feel the 306 doesn't get as hot? Those are just my observations, but I'm curious if others have noticed this.

I have had really good luck with the cases that screw down and have a gasket. They aren't anything fancy. I think they are just the Solo cases I used before I had LASIK. I just made sure I grabbed the more heavy duty screw top ones. I do snug them down before I put them in my pocket. I have only had one massive failure with one in my bag when I was flying (granted that was pretty nasty). I have gotten good at dipping in public. I think I even look pretty COOL doing it now. On the road took some practice and I still mostly wait for a red light or a straight stretch of road (Legalish disclaimer: I do not recommend dipping and diving) .

Im glad other people are finding the 306 and liking it though. The 306 and 401 saved vaping for me.

I think I'm going to order some of these. I've got a 510 on the way and I've fallen in love with dipping. Its what saved me from giving up on my blu (those pre-filled carts are a nightmare).

The 306 is good for dipping, but for your 510 carts, I highly recommend the blue foam mod.
