Came home from work today, and the mega ego-t type B (900 mAh) had arrived. Been waiting all week.

First thing I did, of course, was inspect the parts as I opened the package. Check.
next, account for al of the 4 juices I ordered. Check.
3rd: plugged in one of the batteries for charging. Check
4th: punctured one of the tanks with as instructed with the atomizer.....check

now, which flavour to sample (note. Everything in this delivery came from Liberty Flights).

I started with the Turk and USA blend tobacco. Filled the tank, inserted it and bingo...... I liked the taste. Kind of reminded me of my Camel lights, but a hint of sweetness. After about 5 pulls, I felt a little liquid on my lips and promptly wiped them off.

Being a newbie, had to smaple one of the other flavours as well, so filled another tank with the Key Lime Pie. Again, liked it (although it was a little faint). The actually drag did not give me the flavour, but the exhale/aftertaste did. Problem was, again, after a couple of pulls...liquid.

Someone, please advise.........

Are you taking long, slow pulls? You'll get a better experience the slower you pull into your mouth then exhale through your mouth and nose. Juice in your mouth is no fun. Hang in there and check this thread often for a bit. eGo-T users will chime in...

There is a thread in the library about how to draw. It took me a while bc I was a "hot" smoker - went through a 100 cigarette in like a minute. Slow draw into the mouth (5 seconds?) - then inhale to lungs using your mouth and nose (if that makes sense). It takes a few days to stop the ciggy puffs and start vaping.

Hope it works and visit the library!! (An educated vapor is a happy vapor)

i too am (WAS) a hot smoker. perhaps that is part of the problem. I will check out the l;ibrary for certain, about to head out now though (new ego with me instead of the former camels).....feeling confident

ok......so I have retried the tank with the "tobacco" flavour. When I inserted it, I heard a "snap". I then twisted about 180 degrees. So far, nothing onto my lips this go around. headed out for the "real test" now. Agreed to meet a friend out. I am NOT taking the regular smokes with me....I actually have a few remaining. We'll see how I do in the company of smokers, and with a couple of drinks. Wish me luck, and keep the tips on how to coming

PS. Order a box or two of cartomizers. When your tanks act finicky just twist on a carto and vape. I'd suggest 2 ohm or 3 ohm cartomizers. The lower the number the warmer the vape. No lower than 2 with your equipment to be safe. Good luck.

Congrats on making a start...sounds like you are off and running...don't use the tanks myself so can't give advice on them...BUT, I will echo what the Boodle sez, getcha some cartos to go with that for when the time comes(and it will)...I recommend going to Crystal Clear Vaping and getting the (15)bundle of Boge2.0LR cartos, they will throw in 2 drip tips, a syringe and free shipping...good luck and Happy Vaping........

I liked the tanks better when I removed the insert in the mouthpiece. You get a paper clip remove the tip of the mouthpiece, and there's a second inner piece and you remove that. You can put the outer piece back on. I tried them when they first came out so I'm guessing I had the type A. Don't know if your able to do that with the B or not. I found the juice built up somehow and this helped.

Yes, light, slow pulls with the tank. I never heard that expression before but I guess I'm a hot smoker/vapor as well. Maybe that's why I had some difficulty with tanks.

Boodle... as much as I like my tanks, I took your advice on the cartos. Got the dual coil cartos and actually I like them ore than I figured I would. A completely different experience than the cartos that came with my Go-Go. Still love my tanks but it's all about options.

Hope all is vaping well TwistedLemon! That liquid really does taste like crap... lol.

So my "time out" this evening was short, but here is the outcome. I took the Ego with me (type B) with the tank of Turk-USA tobacco juice. Although I was not out long, I met a friend (smoker) at a bar/grill and we sat outside. She ate, but I had already eaten (did not plan on going out, but instead was a nice last minute invite from her). Instead I sipped on a beer or 2. NORMALLY (as with most people) I would smoke like a chimney when out, expecially if drinking and with other smokers. Have to give her credit, she asked me if I minded that she smoked with me right there. I told her to feel free, and pulled out my ego. We sat and chatted for a while, I have a few beers, she smoked about 5 stinky sticks.......and I was good. Just got home and had to tell someone it went well. Just switched tanks for some Key Lime Dessert before I cal it a night. Last smelly one....about 4 hours ago

Congratulations, Twisted. It sounds like you're off to a good start. I think you may have already figured it out, but you need to make sure that the tank is pushed on firmly. If it's loose, you can get flooding which increases the likelihood of a juice hit.

And do try cartos.

+1 with any flavor but especially with a sweet flav, I like to exhale hookah style and let the vapor just kinda roll out of my lungs and over my tongue and out my nose/mouth...gets the most out of that flavor................

the exhale through nose and mouth (i dont know if it really makes sense either, but I understood and since it was my question / comment being replied to that is really all that matters to me) does help a little. I am really thinking though that the key lime i got with the initial kit (Liberty flights) is just a tad "weak". not calling it bad at all, just very faint.

I will say that I really did enjoy the tobacco flavor though. When I was ordering, several commented describing a touch of sweetness, like a tad of caramel sneaking in. To me, old school pipe tobacco is what it reminds me of. I could almost close my eyes and see myself sitting on the front porch with a pipe enjoying the cool breeze coming off the hills

Do you remember the last time you had a cold and your nose was stuffed up? You couldn't taste anything right? It's the same with vaping.

Not sure I am following you tm. My sense of taste and smell actually amazes some of my freinds (even non smokers). You may be right though. I will give it a few days to determine. Occassionally I get a good tasting pull, but I really think the flavor is a bit weak. Again, I dont dislike it. Considering I have tried only 2 flavors so far, and of the 2 I did not dislike either one...I think I am ahead of the curve

TL, one of my favs is Key Lime Pie from BlueMistVaping...I get it with a flavor shot and still find it very subtle...I get the graham cracker on the inhale and the lime/creaminess on the exhale...I find a lot of sweet flavs like that and some of the exhale thru the nose help heighten this effect...but the lime is still subtle, after all, it is but one of at least 3 flavorings in the juice.......

Hey fellow Tampa area! If you have a good sence of smell already, You will be AMAZED at what you will smell after about a week or two without analogs. I can smell a perfume in walmart and track it down clear across the store now. I feel like a blood hound.

You said you didn't know if it made sense to exhale through your mouth and your nose. I'm trying to explain that if you only exhale through your mouth you won't taste as much flavor. You may be right about the flavor just being weak. It was just a suggestion.
