Been using the "Dart" for a couple of weeks now and IT WORKS GREAT !

Works just as described AND refilling is such a breeze. Pop it out, fill it up, pop it back in.

I take off the atty, sit it on the table and then put the Dart, straw end, resting on the atty. No juice lost. Fill the cart and then pop in the Dart. The Dart keeps its shape so you know exactly how to re-insert it.

The Blue Foam seems to work the best. The White Vent Filter foam works well for the first 2 refills, then becomes too saturated and doesn't wick as well as the Blue Foam.

What voltage are you vaping at, and what atty are you using?

Made my first dart mod for my 510...thanks for the great instructions Pete. So far so good. I had a bit of a hard time getting the blue foam down inside the tiny straw but I think it will be easier the next time I make one.

Nice vape! Much better than the original polyfil!

I wasn't liking my auto batts as much as my manual until I tried this mod. Now I get more than enough hit from the auto!

Try any place that sells coffee like a Starbucks. They should have them. Today, while playing golf, I noticed in the snack bar the very stirrers I use. So I helped myself to a handful of them.

McDonald's has 2mm stirrers. I walked in, grabbed a few and walked out. hehe

Do you think it helps to cut the straw at a slight angle on the bottom?

Well I'm really glad that other folks are having the same success as I am with this. As far as cutting the stirrer at an angle, it really isn't necessary because the juice doesn't feed up the stirrer at all, it feeds around it. Won't hurt, but won't help. I was at a vapers meeting tonight and showed how to make one. It tool all of about 60 seconds! Sure beats dripping every 6 hits! ;)

To the person asking about what atty and what voltage, I use a 510 and vape at 6v. The question wasn't asked to me but just FYI.

Do you have a trick to getting the foam up the straw or is it just tight squeezing and twisting?
No trick, just getting the knack of it I guess. I just squeeze and twist. The benefit of a tight fit is twofold. First of all it stays in place and can be used a long time. Actually, I've never had one pull out. Secondly, the smaller the stirrer diameter, the less wasted space.

i put the dart in and have been leaving it there driping directly onto the foam. Is there any reason why i would have to keep taking th dart out? it seems to be working well.

The combination of the denseness of the foam and the first few drops may be creating a seal and trapping air in the bottom portion of the cart. How many drops are you getting in before full? From empty in a 510 cart, you should be getting 12-14 drops in.

I'm doing something wrong and it stopped working as well. The foam is still wet but I'm not getting the same vapor that I first got with this mod. Maybe my straw is a bit too short or ??? At first I thought I might have a dirty atty, so I tried a polyfil cart and it worked fine.
Sounds like you flooded the atty.Just blow it out. You are probably getting too much juice flow. If you're vaping at 3.7 make sure the foam is wide enough so that when you insert it it is wider than the cart mouth and needs to be compressed a bit.

Thats about what im getting. But i was pulling in a lot of ait and wasnt getting that resistance when i was pulling it...so i took out the dart today and am running it with just foam.
