I have actually applied to two of my local vape shops. One is a well-known, well-established shop which I assume has a full sales staff. The other one is just starting up and needs to begin to have more business before they can afford to pay me a salary.

It's ironic, but the people who run and work in these shops do not seem to have a high opinion of internet e-cig forums, so having a great reputation on one means very little to them.

Buddy, with your knowledge and patience, they don't know what they're missing. You can use me as a reference. I'll pm my email address and phone number to you. I'm sure MANY others would be willing to do the same, as a very small thank you.

Just know, you're in my thoughts and prayers. :)

I agree. I mentioned ECF in one the other day and got a kind of sour milk expression from the owner. Which I don't really get, because 1/2 the crap I buy there, I heard about here...
But walk in with a print out of all of those blogs and slap them on the counter!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but knowing about them makes what you do here all the more remarkable and noteworthy. (As I have my first morning puff on my mvp2 and IBT. Lol)

Thanks again!

I am a fortunate soul to have the Baditude living within a ten minute drive from me. Sure has been a great mentor to me.

Thanks for everything Baditude.

Wow! Is it a underground vape lair of some kind? I'm picturing a cave opening with inferior battery carcasses on skewers, and a trail of long dead cartos and cheap crushed tanks leading to the door!

I would also like to join in with thanks. You opinions and recommendations have helped me quit a 30 year habit where everything else failed. To you, and all the others here on ECF who have helped, I give you a whole hearted salute.

It's funny... I got a cartotank (yeah... Finally, right?) last night, primed it and vaped. The second thought that came to me was "...dammit. He was right again!".

Cheers to you my friend.

Every day - and I mean every single day - I do an ECF search for Baditude's posts! I don't do this search for anyone else, though there are many fantastic contributors here. Baditude, you are such an enormous help to me on an ongoing basis, and I thoroughly respect your opinion and integrity. Please continue to assist all of us here, and know that we appreciate your contributions to the vaping community.

Sometimes I'm astounded at your patience, especially when I see you responding to the same/similar questions and needs that come from new vapers who are struggling to make sense out of the sensory overload we all experienced when we began to explore this new venture. It's very endearing that you continue to hold the hands of the new and overwhelmed even though you have provided the information many times before. You are a treasure!

I'm praying that you'll soon find a new position in your chosen field. :vapor:

no, no vapor lair. Just hanging out at AltSmoke with him from time to time and being able to pick up the phone and call him anytime I want. I try not to do that too often because I don't want to distract him from his duties here on ECF. ;)

I've noticed some people working in vape shops don't like this forum especially but yet they know they get customers from this place.

The first person I talked to from this forum that wasn't a supplier/vendor mentioned you as the most helpful. You didn't convince me to try cartotanks but what you have said about them was in my mind when Thunderball told me his impression of them. I bought a cheap one the next day and love it. I did look at your priming directions but made the mistake of combining what you said with other peoples directions. Next time I will just follow your directions since I lost about 1ml combining. So far I have only put 15 ml through it but I figure if it gets another 5 - 10 it will be worth switching permanent.
