could someone (halopunk) please answer my question from a few pages back? Here is what I said:

"Ok so I got my PT. Nice, but no lube as mentioned! WTF....anyways, will it allow 5V vaping? I've got it plugged into a 5V USB adapter....am I vaping at 5V now?

What if I found a 6V USB adapter, would that allow me to vape at 6V?"

Well I am not Halopunk but I did get my PT yesterday and I checked the current while plugged into a few USB's I have.

While connected to my laptop I get 5.06 Amps.
On my battery pack that has an output of 5V 1.5A Max i got 5.18V. On my usb wall charger for my iPhone I got 5.10V.

I would think you could get 6V with a 6V Adapter with over 1Amp output. If you find one please let us know. I don't think they are made but I am probably wrong.

It absolutely should. The Tekkeon power pack has multiple voltage settings and it works with other direct connect passthru's like the BB.

P.S. oh, and , yes you are vaping at 5V now.(however, depending on the current/amperage of the the 5V USB adapter, you may not be getting the FULL passthru experience - you need an adapter providing 1.5 - 2 amps for that)

Oh the colors:

It is hard to see how the color will actually turn out on an aluminum background. I will do a sample of each before going full with it, logistics is the only down side. If they turn out bad or undesired I will choose other colors to do. Here I will post the website my coater gets his powders, choose first box on top left on ral colors, the charts are 3/4 way down on the pdf file page 4 to be exact.

Could you elaborate a wee bit on the adapter you were referring to.
Thanks- NJ

I personally don't own one, I was told about them by Quovadis on this forum(shoot him a PM, I'm sure he'll be glad to tell you about it). But here's the website:

Tekkeon - myPower ALL, MP3300/MP3400/MP3450

I think the one he has is the 3450i. It's essentially a high power, rechargeable, battery pack that allows you to choose what voltage you want to run your passthru at.

I was assuming you were referring to the Tekkeon , but if you were referring to the one I own, Lotus already beat me to it(above). It's a great (inexpensive-NOT CHEAP) littel 5V 2amp AC(wall socket) to USB adapter. I've had mine now for 4 months , stills works perfectly, never had even ONE hiccup or trip.

I also own a Kensington power pack(USB 5V 1.5 amp) which allows me to go mobile on my passthru's:

http://us.kensington.com/html/13883.html
and there's also another mobile option called the APC power pack (5V and 2amp- but harder to find):

http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=UPB10

But for the price (as Lotus said $3.90 shipped) this thing can't be beat:
