That Tekkeon seems like a god idea. However with an iPhone & a car charger adapter for it I can use my PT while driving with it. It would be pretty nice to have though expensive. I'd go for it if I knew whether or not it would charge my MacBook too- I can't seem to figure that out from my minimal research on it. Do most of Tekkeon's power packs give you the ability to adjust the voltage output or just the more expensive ones?

Not sure, I think just the more expensive ones. I remeber Quovadis saying you could get a special deal on it. Got it, here it is:

He was talking about the 3400. I don;t know if they even make that any more, but there is some good info in the post. Also PM quovadis, I'm sure he can help.

hey Mark thanks for the reply:)

I'm shopping some different adapters. Was hoping you guys could take a look and let me know if you think I've come up with a good solution.

For car 4.5V and 6V PT:

DYNEX UNIVERSAL 1.5v to 12v CAR POWER ADAPTER
DYNEX UNIVERSAL 1.5v to 12v CAR POWER ADAPTER - Cowboom Store

PowerStream
12 volt to 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 volt switching DC/DC converters with 2 amp output car adapter.

For Home 5V and 6V PT:

SIMA
Universal DC Power Adapter

And yes the 5V supply that is so cheap has been giving me great results. I do love 5V. 3.7 is too weak now, like everyone reports when moving up in voltage. Now all my juices have too much throat hit, must move down in mg's. Phooy. That reminds me, will vaping at 4.5V be much different than 5V?

This one:
DYNEX UNIVERSAL 1.5v to 12v CAR POWER ADAPTER - Cowboom Store

is a bit suspect, as I can't find what the current output is(should be 2 Amp at 5V to be safe) on the website.

The other 2 look OK(at least at the voltages below 7V), they list the amperage on each one at each individual voltage(the Powerstream right on the webpage, the Sima in the PDF manual link) . Remember, as Voltage increases, the amperage able to be pushed through the atty will aslo increase via ohm's law. You can figure out what the approximate amperage(current) required will be by using the ohm's law equation Current = Voltage/resistance (the resistance of a standard 510 atty is about 2.3-2.5 ohms.
Each one looks like it includes the standard DC adapter needed to fit the connector on the BB pass thru. If Chad could chime in and possibly list what the specific BB passthru DC adapter connection dimesions are, that would be great.

Your not going to want to go above 8V or your going to start blowing atty's left and right.

I would also think the difference between 4.5 and 5V would be minimal , but you never know.

Honestly I have no idea, the Purple and Pink were scheduled to be released several days before. But if Chad ships them out to me tomorrow, I'll get them Friday and ship them out saturday ;P

Here's hoping...getting rather close!

I hope so too.. It's a christmas present for my sweetie!

(Please Chad? Pretty Please?) :)

Pink looks good, Purple...looks...lavender

oh dear...
I guess I might have blown it on her christmas gift... (when I mentioned black, pink, and purple as color choices a while back, she said purple, but knowing her, I'm pretty sure she did not mean lavender..sigh!)

If I decide to break the ice and talk to her about this, is there any possibility to change the color choice if she asks?

He showed me them today, think he said they'll be shipped tomorrow?

Don't quote me on that though ;P

Yup they are all boxed up and ready to be shipped tomorrow. I would not really call it lavender, it is purple, just not as dark as i thought it would be.

Hi Rob,
Well, I do understand the answer being "no, you can't change the color once you place a preorder", but I guess I would have appreciated an answer instead of just skipping over my question.

I know it is easy to ask a question on the Forum and wait for an answer but I think you should email Rob with a change in an order. Some suppliers like Rob have a normal 9-5 also and it can be hard to get to the Forum all the time. Shoot him an email. I am sure he will answer your question. Also when Rob (Altsmoke) does preorderes thay might run out of a certain option.

So I hope you get you question answered.

A bit late now to be honest =X Not accustomed to people leaving these types of requests in the forum, if you would prefer to do it in the forum at least PM me, that way I don't miss it like that request.

Since you made that post I have not visited this thread =X I apologize, sorry mate...on the plus side...the purple doesn't look as bad as I had envisioned it. You may be receiving it today, so let me know how it goes.

does anyone here know if there is an adapter to fit the 401 atty (female threads) onto a 510 "receiver" thread (female thread like on the BB)? I think the 401 plus the BB at 3.7 volts will be perfect for me...I think it's the 401...whichever atty the M4 uses on the InnoVapor :: The Finest in Personal Vaporizers site...
